There is no shortage of great races today. As I was going through the Gotham I found myself handicapping trainers rather than horses. Is anyone else suffering from this? In any case here’s how I see the Gotham.
If you played Aqueduct yesterday it seemed that the jockeys were avoiding the rail. This sets up well for #14 Recruiter. As we’re taught by Thorograph, the key to handicapping 3 year olds is to look for lightly raced horses who haven’t run their best race yet. Recruiter fits that and shows steady improvement in each race. Recruiter should lay off the speed duel and be close enough to win at a price.
If you’re handicapping trainers, Cox has two monsters in the race. They will backed at the window and ready to run holes through the wind.
I’ll take my shot with Recruiter and save with exactas with the Cox duo.
Good Luck Everyone!
