Seems kind of silly to me if the only horse to beat EPICENTER in a Derby prep didn't make it to the starting gate first Saturday in May. He's 28th on the leaderboard last time I checked.
Last race is better than it looks on paper, IMHO. Graham fell asleep on this horse in the Louisiana Derby. Waited too long to make his move. Wouldn't mind seeing a jockey change if he did make it to the Derby. What's Kent doing these days? ;-)
Seems to fit the Derby profile as well. Late developing 2yo popped a good number late in the year. Continued improvement as a early 3yo.
