Really interesting seminar from Vic this week. Listening to his picks reminded me of why this game is so tough. 2 people using same info coming up with totally different horses. I respect Vic and know he's won some big tourneys but man what I thought I knew about sheet theory is totally out the door according to his analysis. First, the bounce theory. I hate gappy horses who are running bac

Remember the last BC at Del Mar featured a dead rail where outside posts were better. Lots to play out. Supposedly its all about the tides.

As was the case with Jerry Hollendorfer, it doesn't seem these tracks are taking these actions based on a single infraction.
They likely know way more than we do..and are doing things based on what was likely going on for years.
Hopefully it all comes out one day in black and white so we don't have to assume but this is clearly not just about Baffert's derby positive. And t

At 2-1 or less I think you're supposed to try to beat Super Stock. The last time he ran a big number...it took him 4 months to get back to it. Why are you so sure he won't react again? There are several others with forward moving lines that interest me a whole lot more.

Arguing the penalty against Mejia is too harsh is one of the worst takes I've seen on this board maybe ever.

Very interesting exchange unveiled by TDN who published new wiretapped convos between Servis and Navarro. Didn't Baffert horses test positive for Dex and then have a convenient story about a rash????
Servis: It will probably come up with probably, right?
Rhein: Yeah, that's it. It will be dex. It will be dex. It will be like—that's it. And I've had them, I had them

But you do have that list of 10 suspect trainers......It would be amazing if that somehow made its way into the public domain. I'm sure most regular players could name almost all of them.

Shanahan,
Congrats on the win. Would love to hear how you came to use the winner in the last. Or did you just go all? That result really miffed me....and as the slowest horse in the race, probably most TG users.

Curious as to why you see this pattern as "screaming new top." I see a horse who was poised to run through his top 4 times and never did. Not a good sign in my opinion. These sheets are all about interpretation which makes handicapping so tough! Good luck!

I thought the same thing! You could never have used that horse using TG. Everybody wants to win on Derby Day. Remember Masochistic in 2014? I still can't believe A.C. Avila is still allowed to train horses after that disgusting incident.

That's a very "non-thorograph"response. This is a TG board. You can handicap class all you want but using sheet's they aren't that different. Helium was ridiculously wide last out. With that said I understand where you are coming from and know many will use the class angle to dismiss him. The class angle will land you on the 3 favorites. In a 20 horse field, i'm look

What's the big difference between Helium and Rock Your World? Only one of them has 2yo foundation and he will be 5x the price. I was super impressed by his Tampa Bay Derby. If you haven't watched it you should. When do you see a horse win a graded race being that wide the whole way and re-break in the stretch? My one concern is kickback but at the price i'm willing to take the chan

Curious how some of the TG guys are interpreting the huge figs some horses got on Southwest day at OP. Crazy fast figures for some out of nowhere aided by huge ground loss which seemed to be the best part of track. I will still play them to bounce.

This is an issue that keeps coming up. Ive lost many races leaving out horses with boxes because I couldn't get a read on them. I really wish Jerry would give numbers and use a symbol to designate it an estimated figure.

Why should we believe Authentic will get the distance? Seemed to tire late in the Haskell...breeding doesn't scream distance....Baffert lost both his races yesterday, one with a filly who clearly didn't get the distance.....I get Authentic looks juicy with fast numbers and lone speed..but I question the distance. Would need a good price to get my money.

Because that would make way too much sense. In this day and age.....not much makes sense.

Curious if anyone on here is "in the know" and can speak to whether there is any chance some number of fans will be allowed into the track this summer?
It's hard to imagine a huge place like Saratoga not being safe if they cap attendance. It's all open air and no different than most outdoor dining venues.

This thread really made me laugh. After all we know about Navarro...you guys seemed to be the only people surprised the horse took no money and ran like crap. Del Mar is not Monmouth Park or Gulfstream. Lesson learned here.

Any reason you're not doing sheets for the Royal Ascot meet?

I'd urge longtime sheet players to look at Kee race 3 Thursday 4/11 and tell me if you've ever seen a sheet like the 3 horse. What did Baltas do to get this kind of performance from the horse and what do you expect going further???

Can someone explain why it's ok to run lasix free overseas but it can't work here? I don't get it.

Does anyone know if thorograph made Australia figures, what range number Winx runs? Not looking for anything precise but does she run negative figs or does she runs 4s or 5s. I have no clue but really curious as to how she'd stack up against US competition.

Other than to say the fast horses didn't show up, does anyone have a theory as to how the 2 slowest horses in the race finished 1-2? I know this happens on occasion but I can't remember it happening in a graded race like this. Totally impossible to have off the sheets.

Has anyone else noticed that many horses seem to have run new tops at Delaware over the summer but since then can't replicate the figs? Not sure if JB has the track too fast or if trainers were taking an edge knowing they could.I'm thinking the figs may just be too fast since they are a lot of smaller no name barns.

Have to second that it was pretty shitty of Silver to post that Game Winner news knowing its total bs....lots of people don't know the few personalities here and how to take your "humor."

Jerry hasn't put out his thoughts yet but here my top contenders for Friday knowing very well that post positions will matter a lot:
Juv. Turf Sprint:
Soldiers Call looks like a MONSTER.
Shang Shang Shang will likely be bet the most out of the Ward horses because of the Ascot win but has a gap in works and is slow. Stillwater Cove ran HUGE at Saratoga sitting off the pace which I

Come on Fairmount, lets be real..Number 9, you want the tracks to advise people NOT to bet a race if it comes up bad? At Santa Anita that would be half of every card!

Ugh this horse has frustrated me to the core. I keep thinking this horse will bounce or get caught up in a speed duel and end up leaving him off my tickets. The last couple make him look like a freak. He did react last time out but could be poised to run back to his top. The race shape once again doesn't look like it will favor him with 2 speed horses to his outside. Is this horse reall
