The troy - 3 years ago
Love the sheet pattern on Pulsate. Ran a 1 point top first time at 4. Has 5 weeks rest and with any improvement is a winner. 15 to 1 ain’t bad either Will use imprimis and chewing gumby dannyboy135 - Ask the Experts

Re: Shancelot - 4 years ago
Frank A cogent and well reasoned response. I agree Shancelot can bounce substantially and still win. I’ll probably use him in a ticket but will lean more heavily on mind control and hog creek. I agree bouncing off a 7 furlong sprint and returning in a sprint is more taxing than next out routing where they don’t have to all out sprint. In my particular circumstance my filly ran a neg 4 1/by dannyboy135 - Ask the Experts
Re: Shancelot - 4 years ago
He will bounce and 4 weeks rest will make the bounce more significant. For reference I had a filly run a negative 4 1/2 and she bounced but still won a grade 2. I’m certain he will bounce but is it enough? Wish we had more speed but looks like call Paul is our only chance to put pressure I’ll use hog creek a bounce candidate as well but plenty restby dannyboy135 - Ask the Experts
Sheet read? - 4 years ago
In race two at Saratoga I love charreada. Drawn inside, is second fastest and in her last two paired her three year old top. Shouldn’t that line suggest that she is going to move forward? Looks like we have enough speed to insure a pace to run at. Thoughts appreciatedby dannyboy135 - Ask the Experts
Re: ROTW - 5 years ago
I agree with Jerry hidden scroll and BW look strongest but I see it as a 4 horse race rather than a 2 horse race. While Harvey is slower I like a horse that has just eclipsed his two year old number and with time between races and speed to set up his close I’ll make a tri with Harvey in the first and second spots using hidden scrol, Bw, and Hcby dannyboy135 - Ask the Experts

Figure question - 7 years ago
John white points out that thunder snow has carried 126lbs on 7 occasions and once carried 131lbs. Do the thoro graph figures take weight into account? I know 5lbs is 1 point but wonder if the figures already take weight in previous races into account?by dannyboy135 - Ask the Experts

Aristides - 8 years ago
Schivarelli is as fast as any in the race, drawn outside of speed and is 14 to 1. I'll box him with union Jackson and alsvid and hope the speed comes back to himby dannyboy135 - Ask the Experts
Re: Just following up... - 8 years ago
Not trying to throw gas on the fire, but I was under the impression that rag and tg were premised on speed, ground loss, track variant, wind etc so if they went a 100 miles an hour early and the race collapsed the figures should reflect such. Adjusting figures based upon the fields earlier performance seems counter to the speed figure concept I remember so vividly the discussion about class vs sby dannyboy135 - Ask the Experts

The demeanor of many board posters is incredible. Try reading the Thoroubred daily news I post very rarely because each time I do I get insulted. But my guess is I've bred, raised, raced, and sold more horses than 99% of the critics "Stupid question or stupid answer?by dannyboy135 - Ask the Experts
