I can't even name the filly Triple Crown. Oaks, Black Eyed Susan, Acorn I guess? Just looked it up and I was wrong for the record. And who was the last one to do it? This is the world we live in today SMH. Winning the Preakness is FAR more meaningful. 6 fillies have won it including Swiss Skydive

Messier and Tabia not going to Baltimore.
“Both Taiba and Messier will head back to California,” Yakteen said in a text message Monday to Horse Racing Nation. “They came back in good shape. We will regroup and come up with a campaign.”
In old news from an espn.com story:
Medina Spirit and two other horses trained by Bob Baffert will be under extra scrutiny in the days leading up to the

JohnTChance,
I am normally one of the first people to call out a situation where I think that something that wasn't above board happens in a race. And everyone is entitled to their opinion. But I take a very different view than "he was injected before the race with something strong" that provoked him as you wrote.
Eric Reed is 0 for 47 last 5 years in nongraded stakes. He

Rez,
One thing I've wondered is why the Baffert camp was against the in person Maylin depo in a KHRC matter? The judge said In Person will be allowed as I understand it.
Some may recall a Times Union article I posted a while back that had lengthy info about Maylin. It likely was dismissed as propaganda that is trying to tear down racing. That aside, here is what I recall. . . that

How come a guy like William Fires never has these problems?
"accidental administration"
"hyped up nonsense"
"toxins from groom's urine"
This thread is hilarious.

$116.40 payoff.
May I suggest narrowing in 2 legs instead of 1 when you like a HEAVY chalk in one of the legs? It isn't about picking Regal Glory as much as when you have Limited Liability and Campanelle on the same ticket that you have to maximize profit. Or if you don't narrow with a chalk in one of those other two legs, make sure no other serious chalk is on that other leg also.

As for your exact request of the past year as it relates to Mott:
Mott is 99 for 612 overall for a 16 percent win percentage with all owners including Godolphin.
Mott is 18 for 85 with Godolphin for a 21 percent win percentage the past year.
Subtracting out those 18 for 85 results in an 81 for 527 record which is a 15.3% win rate the past year for non-Godolphin owned horses.

JB,
I'll send Walsh-Godolphin when I can obtain it but can not just yet.
Bill Mott (who has one in tomorrow at Kee) is 11 for 35 for 31 percent winners the past 5 months with Godolphin horses and 66 percent in the money with a $2.84 ROI.
Over the past 2 months with Godolphin horses, he is 6 for 14 for 43% winners and 71 percent in the money with a $3.83 ROI.

Charles Appleby, 2021. 18-9-3-1. $5,818,966.
I loved the comments I heard on TV and twitter about how Appleby had live runners to bring to the states last year. . . . Guy has quality horses and knows how to train 'em. McLaughlin could never get those kind of runners when he was training I guess.

Japan at 20-1 earlier this evening with 75k in the pool and 2900 plus on Crown Pride.
BC, Saudi, Dubai has been quite a run for the Japanese. Some have said that the last 5 months of success is from solid breeding the last 2 decades finally coming together. Imagine people actually believe that is what "suddenly" made them start winning worldwide after being plodders for 2 decades

On March 9th, I posted about Ness' excellent skills so I'm certain I'm not one of the 50 posts you mention screaming about Baffert that isn't looking elsewhere at issues in the game.
I think where you and I differ on this Medina Spirit case is that you are looking at in isolation. You are looking at it based on the facts that have been put forth by Baffert's camp.

For me, the real question is if the same people that "treat" the horse whether vets or Jimmy or whomever will still be able to have access and treat the horse under Bob's prior directives (or current).
I find it interesting he kept them in his barn seemingly as long as possible. 45 days prior to the Derby.
On an unrelated note . . . how long before the BC did Ellis treat

Combined winners for Baffert, Asmussen, Cox, Diodoro, and Broberg on the Rebel Card today: ONE. Asmussen maiden winner who shook clear easily early and set slow fractions and won easy.
You know, the card that Asmussen shoots for that no one else does. You know, the card, Baffert wins the Rebel in year after year after year.
