For the record. Caught the exacta nicely in the Derby. Not an attorney never have been. Not a manager of any pick 6 syndicate or any gambling group. A winning player for past 12 years even taking out the million won at NHC. Oh and finally, eff Arcadia123 whoever the eff you are. Have a nice day and good luck with horse racing guys and gals.

Thanks to the data I qualified for the BCBC. Last race at Keeneland on Saturday just needed to pick winner and Guest Suite not only had best fig but data you cannot get anywhere else showed that in every listed example of Howard 2nd time out the horse improved his figure but a few points to a few points PLUS.
That is invaluable information but for me it was worth 10k.
Nice work on the Elli

Not sure if this figures into it but the Twinspires players pool bet 80k into the first day and none the second. I think they/we hit it about 8x first day?

Churchill will pay out 350k + additional money tomorrow for .20 cent ticket. Does not have to be a single ticket winner. Mandatory payout.
Friday the same pool jackpot pool - single winner 20 cent - is seeding with 300k to start like the Rainbow.
confusing I know but tomorrow is a lot of dead money for a mandatory payout and 20 cent pick 6.

Check out the 9th at Laurel and see the ride Mr. Betancourt gave the 9, the look on his face when he glanced over and noticed another horse coming is priceless. Well not exactly priceless since it cost me plenty. and I had to laugh about it though.

I was looking forward to showing Mr. Covello and crew how to pass a good time for sure but I believe Power Alert will scratch due to the massive amounts of rain we have gotten down in cajun country. No way the turf course is going to be anything near fast and there is a chance the race goes dirt we have gotten so much rain and more in the forecast.

PLEASE run at Evangeline. I promise a good time will be had by all in attendance! And, just by the way, Evangeline is not Bayou country - it is Cajun Country. That's why you need a local guide like me! Great run by Power Alert. Bring the horse and Lynchie down to Cajun country.

I wonder what De Kock's horses were running previous to them running in the US and what type of improvement - if any - we can expect. Did his previous 6 horses - all of whom ran in the $ - pair/top/OFF in their first US starts?

My thought this year on pace can be summed up in one word - fast. these are fast horses who go fast early and there is an abundance of those in the field. It would defy logic to assume that this one race they will all of a sudden decide to rate kindly and take back leaving one of 'em on the lead. I'm playing for a pace collapse. One horse who i have a strong opinion on is Dortmound. My

Curious if you guys have done any statistical analysis on the 1st Gelding note. For example, whether it produces a jump up or improvement in figure. Database is not big but would be interested to know if you plan on adding to the list of stats on the Full Sheets per trainer - where i know the data set is tiny. Thanks. Michael

It was a tough weekend for everyone. I made it to 17th early on Day 3 but then fired blanks although a win by Wild Heiress would have gotten me to the final table (she lost a 3-horse photo at 15-1). There is NO way I could have won it though as the final table 7 races totally chalked out and I was too far behind to catch up.
Weird sequence of winners made for a jammed up leaderboard day 2. An

This is so backwards it defies a coherent response but it is akin to asking Subway customers to pay for a drug free bread if they want to eat the sandwich.
I don't really think racing will ever quite get that we/bettors/handicappers are customers and that they/industry/racetracks/Nyra supply a product that we purchase by betting on it. Until they do the phrase Clueless Clowns will contin

As someone in the biz of publicity, I am absolutely flabbergasted by how little push back CDI is doing. I read where they blamed their problems in LA on a few bad articles. This is a case study of how not to handle media but it is very old school and insular.

I was making a case against her already. In her last at FG, she looked great but to me she definitely did not want to be behind horses and was very eager to get out and to the front. The workout with the 23 early fraction just cemented my opinion that I'm against her. She ran freakishly fast early this spring and it is tough to keep em together that long and well, she will be 4-5 so it'

I looked at the early Thorograph sheets. A lot of question marks in there, seemingly more than in many years. One question though that is easy to answer, at least for me - CC is not the fastest horse. And, there is no way I can see him running a top in the Derby, the ship, the breeding, the number of races so far. He might win but he will win without me for sure. (this declaration just made him t

How about this? Mr. Phipps releases the vet records on Orb last year during and before the Triple Crown races. Something like setting an example instead of calling out others to do something you haven't done.
And, while I'm on a soapbox here, I think the call for Asmussen to "not participate" in the Derby is ridiculous. He has been charged with nothing although under annou

Seriously Bellesbendboy? We legally wager billions on horse racing and you don't think the owners need to disclose treatment or injuries. We illegally bet billions on football and the NFL requires disclosure of injuries AND the press asks penetrating questions about the treatment and the progress of injuries.
Who does it the right way?

I want to be clear. I am not accusing anyone of drugging etc. What I'm concerned about is at the sport's biggest under the magnifying glass moment in recent history - we allow this to go on without putting it under the microscope and just ask a simple question - Why? Why did he go to florida? simple.

So, I attended both the LA Derby and Risen Star. I saw two different horses on those days but they were both named Vicars In Trouble. Looked completely different and better yesterday and showed it on the track. Now, I know it could be because of his pattern - a huge number knocked him back a bit - coat was dull - didn't look good. Yesterday looked grand. So far so good. Nothing out of the or

Congrats to Christian Hellmers, castmate, friend, foe in tournaments and in my opinion, the best tournament handicapper - EVER. He won the Horse Player World Series in a format he admits that is not his best. I've seen him pull proverbial rabbits out of a hat too many times to think that it is a trick - it is not. It is great handicapping.
The TV show shows a lot of animosity between us

Great observations and yes I think Hellmers should have offered a bit more but I would not have taken it at that point probably. What they didn't show and got cut is that I also had a bet in that last race at Arlington to win the whole thing but he ran out. Your final comments are interesting as that is the premise they/producers originally started out with shooting. Bet by bet, watch the ra

I agree with an adjustment in the win/place cap and yes, it does become more of a math contest in the later stages but that's just part of the contest in my opinion. And, for the record, that was my first and only attempt at the silliest hat contest. That is a competition where I cannot compete with those boys.

Thanks for the kind words. I think the horse hasn't been named But...is in as Hip 83 at the Fasig Tipton sale in Florida soon. At least that is what some Twitter friends said last night. And, I know it wasn't a "she" but a he but hey it's REALity television right. Thanks again for watching. Shows have gotten much better in my opinion.

The show will air sometime in January for 10 1-hour episodes. Not sure when it starts but we have almost finished shooting all episodes and it will culminate with the NHC in January. I wish I could comment on what it looks like but I have only seen brief snippets of the shots and they are very well done. I'm just "talent" and not too qualified at that role based on my contest perfo
