I just went from simmering to a full fledged boil.
Exactly what I didn't want to believe.

There must be a logical reason why Kentucky Downs is not in the Racing Form.
If anybody knows why please let me know so I can simmer down.

It may be Game Winner does not react well to kickback. Every race he is placed outside. Looks to be by design.
May have worked last year when he was much the best.
This year he does not tower over the rest. He cannot sacrifice that much ground in a 20 horse field and expect to win.

I agree. This is a real nice horse.
His most important asset, speed. These clean trips are all due to his speed. And he gives every indication that he wants to run all day.
Probably run his race here again.

I couldn't agree more.
Those 2 9's were jogging.
His workouts the past couple of months were similar to todays workout. The more I see this horse the more I think he may be special.

Sekrah
I agree with a lot of what you are saying.
I do not believe he improved 9 points. On the numbers he did.But he won those races with much in the tank. That is what I believe. I may be wrong, but I don't think so. So, in my opinion, when he runs with better he will show it in the figures. I don't think you can make a living with this approach, but sometimes you have to trust your

Arrogate 4 4 -5
Dreaming 9 9 0
Similar pattern?

I don't believe I compared him to Arrogate. Clearly would be foolish.
Sheet pattern similar up to and including Travers.

You could look at his (Always Dreaming) sheet much like Arrogates sheet after the Travers.
Never asked to run prior to that.
I will say this. After watching the Fla Derby and his workouts leading up to that race, the 0 is real. The 9's do not reflect his talent. I'm not saying the number isn't accurate, but it does not reflect his ability.
I think this horse is real real nice.

I agree he was tossing his head and throwing it about. But once engaged he was all business. Looked a bit headstrong as well. but my overall impression was that while looking like he wanted to do more early it did not affect how he finished up, and his gallop out was terrific.
I am not trying to tell anyone to play him, but I think this one could be a real racehorse.

I have watched both AD and BR's last 3 workouts. AD, in my opinion is working really really well. Much more impressive than BR.
Battalion's last workout was much improved over his previous couple which were fair.
Numbers, and pace figures on AD are incredibly slow. If he was losing posting those numbers there would be no discussion. But he is winning, and winning so easily while sett

Probably because there is no mile for fillies/mares. So one race handles the 2 groups I would think.

Was that something that could have been shared with us before post time? Or did Baffert tell Jerry in confidence. I am not saying I would have played him, buy for sure would have given him much more consideration. Baffert does not travel with dead wood.

Very hard to agree with stewards here. I had the 1 so I'm a bit tilted here. That being said, she has to come down. No way around it.
It has really become a complete mystery as to which way these guys will rule. Every instance is a toss up. Get rid of them and whoever crosses the wire first is the winner. At least then I would not feel like I was robbed by 3 blind mice.

I agree to an extent.
Stradivari might lose ground on 2nd turn (1 path) and do not foresee a traffic issue for him, based on where I believe he will be placed.
In this race I want to settle my horse, establish position, tip out at 3/8ths and hope we are good enough. Just like his Keeneland race. Problem is, this bunch is not the bunch he faced in Keeneland.
Obviously this is just my opinion
