Say hello to my little friendby johnnym - Ask the Experts
Out! Pace? I believe that puts a Dallas bomber in, who also has a promising pattern. Personally I have never liked so many bombers in a derby before like this one. GLby johnnym - Ask the Experts
Ty and yes that horse is very live. Definitely not under the radar by any means. GLby johnnym - Ask the Experts
Can we just say what post # he is based on the race shape sheet? Don’t think my sheet #s are the same using a Apple product. My personal favorite sheet is post #13 Thanks GL Johnby johnnym - Ask the Experts
RYW is my pick currently. Definitely wasn’t excited about the jock change that is for sure. But I doubt Joel is gonna pussyfoot on derby day. They draw inside it may be a wire job. GLby johnnym - Ask the Experts
Looking over the past derby seminars, the variance of tops to Xs being run between 2 preps 3 preps and 4 preps speak for themselves. Wonder what the data says for 1 prep? As far as preps go, I am assuming any race run as a three year old prior to the derby is considered a prep? Pletcher has won Derbies with a two prep horse and a three prep horse. O’Neil won both of his with two prepby johnnym - Ask the Experts
I would lean towards a move forward, since the first time on it was a positive result. Grass horses tend to run good at the downs as well. Highly Motivated second time around two turns, does he move forward? Very interesting derby #s wise. GLby johnnym - Ask the Experts
His stride reminds me of Barbaro. Looked at the derby special today, interesting indeed.by johnnym - Ask the Experts
I believe any - figure run as a two year old has never been in the $$ Last one Bolt D Oro And yes good to see action on the board GL Johnby johnnym - Ask the Experts
First thought,I would like to see better late pace figures. He seems more of a forward placed horse. But pace is not really discussed in these parts. Side note: I wonder how much these horses have been babied with the lasix issue. Now they are being tightened going further with more weight. GLby johnnym - Ask the Experts
Forgot about him But he seems to run his best race on the lead and not stalking.by johnnym - Ask the Experts
Random thought. With another bad bleeder yesterday I had a thought. Yes, Bourbon was involved in this thought. What if the owners (trainers) band together and just said any races that does not allow lasix we simply won’t run in them. Step further. The derby prep races, run the horses with lasix and just say fine then we will still collect our winnings, we just won’t run in the Derbby johnnym - Ask the Experts
I can’t see a Derby without a Baffert entry. I had Caddo River in the race thought he ran hard and came back on C.T. Could he have a move forward in him? My top two are the same as Fairmont1 With Known Agenda nipping on there heals. Looking for the underneath bombers. GL and nice to see some action on the board.by johnnym - Ask the Experts
Ah we have life in the forum. Thanks Ace Known Agenda 10-1, pretty high on my list currently.by johnnym - Ask the Experts
Sainthood a Pletcher trained horse showed guts in that race for the place.by johnnym - Ask the Experts
Agree John Baffert had one last Saturday at Santa Anita named Triple Tap He looked more professional then the rest of the Baffert 3 year oldsby johnnym - Ask the Experts
Big Lake got checked pretty good in the lane. Yes maybe he ran a 5 but if he doesn’t get Checked?? If he comes back he will get some of my $$by johnnym - Ask the Experts
The 2 ran a solid race. Probably gets place if he does not get checked by Caddo.by johnnym - Ask the Experts
Thanks Trust me I looked before I posted. Weird weekend to not have a mount.by johnnym - Ask the Experts
Thanks Frank Always love the nostalgia.by johnnym - Ask the Experts
We also developed Thoro-Graph Players Services, which is a partnership we have with New York Racing Association for people to get free data as they bet through NYRA Bets. Is the above accurate? Thought that stoppedby johnnym - Ask the Experts
Horse ran hard of the layoff chasing the winner. I have concern about a bounce but the trainer stats show other wise. GL todayby johnnym - Ask the Experts
Ok Thanks I know they consider any race 8F or longer a route. But handicapping a one turn race vs a two turn race is different.by johnnym - Ask the Experts
Regarding training states on the 3 Papetu. What are Sano #s for first time routing? That information is available for the other trainers but not him. Thanks Johnby johnnym - Ask the Experts
Happy New Years and yes very generous giftby johnnym - Ask the Experts
