OK, I'll start. I think the 2nd half of the day is where the money is. I'll be taking it easy the first half Friday then come out guns blazing as the card progresses.
th: I'm going with #11 Same Crazy Guy even though there's the fear of an 0-2-X and a bleak looking Thoro-pattern. Won here last year at this distance.
th: I'm going with the unknown figure filly #5 Limited View based on some stuff that obviously has nothing to do with her sheet. When a horse wins first out and is bet to 6/5 for a trainer who almost never wins with first time starters, she's got to be something special. Ships up from Md. with some great workouts under her belt and drags Prado back to the Spa with her. Savers: 1 & 7.
th: #9 Sweeping Paddy finally got back to her 2YO top in her last race and could explode with a lifetime best on Friday. Should get the job done. #1 Fifty Five has class lines I just can't ignore and has a good enough top to run back to, to fit in well here. #3 Defiant Humor ran a new top in her 3YO debut and may continue her improvement. She gets 6 pounds from my top 2 picks.
th: While I expect a lot of players here to be falling in love with the bomb who for those who bought the sheets looks faster than these, I'll try to beat her with #3 Submit who ran a very strange race in her 3YO debut, dropping back to last on the turn and then picking up over half the field. She ran a good enough number that with further improvement puts her right in the thick of this and gets one of the best jockey changes I've seen in quite a while. She also is getting weight from all the older fillies & mares in here. Funny thing about this race is Submit is my best bet of the day & the bomb is my best value. At long enough odds of the bomb, I'll have to play both and will box them in the exacta.
