Great advice, I usually play pick 3’s & 4’s , but the carryover with all the extra money pumped in the pool, thought I would give it a crack. Pick 6 ticket was identical to the pick 4 except for the 4 in the last leg.
Try to keep my budget to $50 a day, mostly on weekends, hence the need for red boarding, usually buy TG on the triple crown and bc races.
Playing this game for 30 plus years, you would think you’re betting strategy would grow, but wagering has always been my weak point. Never enough money. I always play a “mythical†ticket in which I play the way I would if I had a bigger bankroll and most of the time, if I invested 3-4 times my initial play, it seems that those mythical tickets hit more often than my real world plays, then you actually play your mythical ticket and loose. It’s hard to sustain losses on a small budget. Anyone else play a “what if I had more money†scenarios and keep track?
I find it most helpful in finding a race where the all button needs to be used and work backwards from there.
