As I understand it the NYRA 86'd race entries from trainer Bob Baffert. That was prior to the Belmont stakes. Maybe, things have changed but I think he is still uninvited to participate in horse races held in the Empire state.
In a decision made by executives/administrators and supported by the NY Jockey Club, the NYRA organization simply refused service to shoe-less Bob. Using the notion those with the power get to make the rules.

For me, as someone who sees's only what's on the surface of this story, I'm gonna go watch another episode of The Mysteries of Skin Walker Ranch. This makes more sense to me than NYRA vs Baffert while (IMHO) making no sense at all.
Bottom line, I like the Japanese Horse, CB doing his best to stay off the radar not as formidable as pre-pandemic.
