I am old school in that I want to see a two turn race from a runner who is trying some of the best of his crop for the first time. Or get huge odds on that proposition to win.
I use breeding more than any handicapper I know. There is a reason Mattress Mac didn't have to pay off on his $100k bonus offer. It is the same reason Runhappy's fee went from $25k to $10k.
The 2021 BH Stallion Register shows his initial crop of 81 foals with 33 runners and just 5 winners for a 0.41 AEI. This is a train wreck when you consider the type of mares he got to 2.17CI.
