I've followed Finger Lakes for years, and I've see John Davila carry many horses down the lane, up there nobody is better at it.
Today is a classic Davila play in the sixth race. A Chris Englehart sprinter (#1 Not A Trace) stretching out to a route and leaving from the rail, should be controlling speed.
The main competition should come from #5 Star Manager.
The two have faced off before, on Aug. 30th going 3/4 of a mile, Not A Trace was in front of Star all the way, I expect more of the same today, with Davila keeping Not A Trace alive in the lane.
Is my speculation flawed?
