At least one voice from one handicapping group insists the West Coast runners are slow this year;

When I read that, I remembered years back when West Coast horses came east for the Breeders Cup. Performance figures didn't suggest the shippers laid over the Midwest and Eastern Horse, yet they pretty much dominated the dirt races. At least it seemed like it to me.

So Race #1 Bob Baffert trainees run 1st and 2nd. Not a big surprise but a simple fact!
