Some friends were texting the other day and we were discussing what a $hith0le Pimlico is but what a fantastic weekend we have had up there the 3x we have done Preakness. One guy said, it isn't the facility. It isn't the racing. It's the fact we are all together having fun. That's what racing is more about for me these days. The social part of it. I love the handicapping but there are so few spots and almost no cards where every race is competitive, deep, and offers serious value. Racing is in decline, and it does not appear anyone can turn the on-track product around at this point.
