I am guessing that it is just too early for most people to start thinking about the Derby. Maybe during the next CD Derby Future book betting interest will pick up.

I don't have any strong opinion right now. I have liked Saarland since before the Champaign but the Gothom/Wood prep plan is typically the kiss of death unless the horse is Secretariat.

Repent looks solid but, if the guidelines have any predictive value, that 4 figure he earned as a 2yo is a big negative. I hope he continues to run well along with Siphonic, Came Home and the rest of the favorites who ran fast as 2yos last year. I will be looking for someone to upset them. The trick will be figuring out which horse that will be...
