Ed Fountaine, in today's NY Post, reports that Lou Raffetto was at the races
yesterday, after having attended Sunday's Jockey Club Roundtable. Agree with
Fountaine that it "would not be a bad idea if Gov Cuomo and his racing advisors call
(Raffetto) in for an interview to take over the helm of the rudderless NYRA."

Raffetto has the credentials (most notably ran Monmouth along with Robert Kulina
during that track's glory days) and would be a logical choice, which in the bizarro
world of New York racing makes it very unlikely that he will be considered.
