Wayne Potts?
Gio de'Oro?
Chart states horse was injured late:
3rd Monmouth
Didn't realize T Graph was offered on the Equibase site, until just now.
Not really familiar with Potts, though he has at least one today at the Spa.
Haskell looks interesting, in it, Pletch has one he took over from Bad Test Bob.

Condolences. Little too much Chad Brown and though he didn't line anyone's pockets Cox had a rewarding day.
Essential Quality ran a determined race. Took it outside and is going to score the best figure again. Can't help believe that despite that he's gonna have trouble with Hot Rod Charlie in say a Whitney, a Travers or a Jockey Club Gold Cup. Had Hot Rod been able to thro

I hope he wins the lawsuit. Many improper names have been snuck by the Jockey Club. The phrase standing on its own is not vulgar or improper. Contextually, its not even inaccuarte.
I want to see a thoroughbred racing named Bad Test Bob. Rossz teszt Bubifrizura.
The excuses were so comical if racing jurisdictions don't honor the penalities, it will be enabling.

Does a hearing transcript exist?
NYRA is a quasi private concern and likely under no duty to release a transcript. If you can point us to one, I for one, will read it.

Empathized with your comments on having to beat Justify. It was Bobby's two Triple Crown "Winners" that convinced me I couldn't beat Bobby if Horseracing wouldn't take him on.
Now, "on its face", it apppears Kentucky understands theres a lot at stake in the modern medical world. Kentucky appears to be trying and though they appear to have him on a second tie

We'll see what the conviction in Racing is if Bobby is confirmed to have violated Drug Policy with the same drug on consecutive year Derby Weekends.
He looks like a shady character, doesn't he?

Assuming she somehow knew it was a soft spot. Still your horse has to run. Without knowing all the facts it seems a little harsh. Especially considering how performance altering trainers are not serving those kind of suspensions.

Is there a secret to the Pick 6? Never gave it much thought. One singles what one can and selects the combinations one has to. Losing is always a result of not enough combinations, but combinations are what kill ROI.
If Keepmeinmind gets past Medina Spirit, its Superfecta, but reducing combinations is always a primary tenet. Was it dumb? Considering the field, maybe. But one bets with a conc

Here's Rombauer's Blue Grass. Essential Quality runs wide and wins wearing down a horse that based on the day's card was making relatively easy fractions. It wasn't easy for Essentially Quality to do all the work reining in the front runner. Essential Quality had the crops best numbers until the Preakness. Did you note the Jig Rombauer was putting on for the fans in the post parade? It was quite the dance.
Wasn't much familiar with Mike McCarthy pre race and looked him up to find he had a pretty good resume of Graded Wins, including the Pegasus and Breeders Cup mile with a horse that beat Accellerate.
Rombauer ran a good race in the Bluegrass into soft fractions. He caught a bit more p

My friend P Dub, says going against a favorite is a primary tenet for the Handicapper and tend to agree. Though we'd also agree that a good favorite is a good bet.
For this race maybe we should put ourselves in 'Ol Bobby's shoes. Imagine you are a top tier Trainer and you've recently had a spate of Drug Positives, including in the biggest race of the year. Imagine you are c

Really difficult race to get conviction for.
Obviously you saw Midnight Bourbon's early trouble plus the four "wides". He was finishing well in the Derby, perhaps only Keepmeinmind was doing better late. A "3"Factors all that, but for the trouble, still can't help but think with the stalled momentum you could call it a 2 and a fraction.
The race begins with f

Richie, I can't pronounce the name of the Drug Medina Spirit had in his blood, however, I do know its a steroid. I know also there is a Zero Tolerance policy in regard to any amount discovered in a Horse's blood post race. It is a matter of Strict Liability. They did not prevent the violation and thus it is on Baffert.
Can steroids improve performance? Well they sure do in humans. I

We so rarely get one of the Prime Suspects clearly in our sights, that moving on is not an option. This is Big Game Season and the rules feed our expectations. We all want a more level playing field. Everyone knows why its tilted. It's just been like pulling teeth to find accountability.

The horse went for 1,000 dollars. Medina certainly has ouchies at that price.
Agree that upon pure logic if the split sample comes back dirty Medina is DQ'd. He has to be, being this is Bobby's second Medication violation upon consecutive Derby weekends. Should we anticipate a significant penalty? I believe that Should be in the cards. Whether it is or not will depend. Not on Bobby&

Obviously the reward outweighs the risk. It has a half life of only 8 hours. 12.5 % 24 hours post injection.
Split Sample reading yet to be determined, but as Ol' Bobby has aged, he's clearly lost track of how much to say and the manner of saying it, in regard to how an Honest man would respond.

Not going to post the sources again, but Ol' Bobby is contradicting himself. He claimed in one breath that the horse was never given the medication. However there is a vet that maintains the horse was treated with the medication 18 days prior to the Derby. Which is it?
Now Bobby is arguing "Cancel Culture", that its wrong to disqualify his horse on something this insignificant

Regarding the Steroid in question, Gamines split sample confirmed the presence of the "medication" and Gamine was disqualified from the Kentucky Oaks, a race she finished third in, carrying her speed a long way.
Gamine's Kentucky Oaks
Since then, Gamine has evolved into a sprint mare and Baffert maintains she is one of his best mares ever.
