You'll be missed. Sounds like you'll be covering a top-notch mare. Enjoy the bliss of biting your lip 'til it bleeds everytime you sneak a peek at the board.
A final note; it was a buzzer? I thought it was a black book containing JB's '95 Derby picks! LOL

The Stamina Wing should include half the Classic Points. In which case Thunder Gulch had 4 points not zero.
If you are referring to Solid and Professional only, then yes he had zero then. But so did past Kentucky Derby winners
Affirmed (TCW), Sunday Silence (won 2/3 of Crown and 2nd in Belmont), Strike the Gold (2nd in Belmont) & Lil E. Tee.
Then Thunder Gulch won 2/3's of TC followed

Monarchos and Thunder Gulch couldn't win because of their breeding? Why do you say that?

I'll try to stay out of it. Jim, my offer on the email still stands.

Is this about money or for fun? You get so hyped up about JB's product because you play for fun?
It can be the Oaks day if you like. Derby Day should have a great mix with full fields and prices to be had.
You really come off as a raggie

I didn't threaten you physically. I was/am challenging you to meet me at Churchill on Kentucky Derby day to our own personal handicapping contest. Select your winners however you choose. If I win (I mean when I win) you stop posting on this board. If I fail, name your price.

The fact that I even acknowledge you is what I apologized for and am apologizing for. I'm still awaiting your email debate. But I guess you feel you garner more attention here. I found your last post to JB interesting. You seemed so genuine in caring about his well-being. Perhaps YOU should take the 1st step and admit YOUR problem. Then YOU can start to heal. And isn't that what this is

You know what? I don't blame you for not talking to me. After all, here I am acting just like a raggie; I am embarrassed. I never was and never will be though. I must have got caught up in the heat of your senseless rantings. My apologies to any I offended.

"Something Bad Happened to a Clown

Every word is written down
Sunny skies are seldom seen

There's his red nose on the ground
No one's seen his painted smile
He's been gone for quite a while

Your "competition" (and I use that word ever so lightly)is not only lacking in product quality, but in class. What was done over there was really tasteless and a real cheap shot. Why I even look over there, I don't know. Perhaps it's like a car accident; you can't keep your eyes off it.

Fastspeed, I'm confused (who would've guessed).
Are you putting Blue Burner's performance ahead of, equal with or behind Saarland's?
Also Mark, I didn't think I had said there was a speed or rail bias, just that I thought the pace in that particular race wasn't significant.
I now assume that yesterday you were referring to Shug & Mott saying the race was pacel

Would someone please send me a copy of JB's article. I had registered for the free week, then received a notice saying they would not send it to my hotmail account. I gave them my yahoo address and still nothing. Thanks for your help.
As for my fantasy $50, I'm still holding it; Imperial Gesture won today and is on her way to the Oaks.

I hope JB comments on this race. He can correct me if I'm wrong.
I thought the pace in The Wood was not that quick. Take a look at the fractions for the rest of the day @ AQ.
I saw Saarland close willingly with a wide move through the turn. He had to be within 4 lengths at the finish. And I think it would be foolish to think he was keyed for his best move today when the ultimate goal is t

I'd put $50 on Saarland. See Derby 1592's arguements. Hell, just look at the sheet.
I'd save the other $50 for the Kentucky Oaks. If Imperial Gesture goes well Saturday in the UAE Oaks, she could pull off the upset over Take Charge.

Hi JB,
I'm not familiar with the Thoroughbred Daily News. Is that a magazine? newsletter? column? Can I find it online? I do want to read your article.
Thanks
