Okay, it's actually $3 for $2, so just give me enough time to get a bet in on Ax Man to win at a higher price. Sure this will change a bit, but there's no a minimal amount of money in pools already!

The DD will pay for the two favorites, Ax Man with Justify, returns $2 for your $2. If anyone doesn't want to try getting that bet in, feel free to get in touch as I will tae as much of it as anyone wants. Just put it in a post and if it comes in, no need to send me anything!

Cashed a couple of tickets but was losing until (yes, I posted just how large this exacta seemed to be) hit the Justify over Good Magic exacta from the 3rd pool for $245.80 5 times. Had a few tris and exactas just in case (so hit nothing else) and as I had a $100 bet on GM to win and with him on top would have paid $345, was screaming at my television for the first time in a number of years for

Why are Aiden Obrien's right hand side number of starts on each of his horse's sheets (TG figure based) so small. More than just Mendelssohn and also curious (never noticed) that the TG figure based numbers not the same as the left hand side (run based) numbers. In most cases, many starts to go by, but in this case, the difference is enormous and (right hand side) unusable because of

Don't know if it makes sense with all you bet, but you could put $50 to win on him and get paid the win price plus the $25 if you lose to him! And if he loses, get $25 back.

Even a part time player like me liked Strike Power before seeing the ROTW and now showing 7-1. On a $50 win bet will actually be 14 to 1 as NYRA bets giving back $25 for your first $50 bet to win on the Florida Derby. There is a way to bet the top 3 and come out ahead, but $350 plus NYRA's $25 back a stupendous price. And should he drop to 4-1, 8-1 still very nice. Over the first $50, 7-1

I agree, not much value, but did notice Good Magic over Justify pays $246 and the other way $345. Probably won't win, but maybe a bit of value, better than the lottery! So may Justify be great and good Magic just a tad better on Derby Day!

The new standard deduction for a single taxpayer is $12,000. What this means is that without any other deductions, you'd have to have $19,400 in losers to wipe away a win of $7400. Only $11,000 in losers, for example, and it's as though you won the $7400 and didn't lost a dime all year. If you're married with no other deductions, far worse: the first $24,000 in losers will

Never liked him much, but respected him. Went back and watched the 1975 Belmont - my first Belmont Stakes visit of 28 in a row. Don't remember if I bet him or not, or whether Beyer's book came out before or after, but he probably had the best figure that day:

All I'm hoping for is that the horse stays healthy and goes off at 6-1 or less Derby Day. Just was curious what others did. Thanks for the response - speak to you May 5th, late in the day!

It was less the Juvy winner than his pattern. Bolt d'Oro has a better top, but Great Magic pattern great and Chad Brown, not bad!

Was I the only one that thought 11-1 (12-1 with a couple minutes to close) on Good Magic was a great price? Curious how other bet this. I bet him to win and under a few in saver exactas plus an exacta box with Bolt d'ora in case he progresses or even runs back to his -1.

You can bet winnings, which is why you can bet the whole was early and risk losing everything, even on one race.

Makes some sense. Someone can place a couple of huge wagers on early Friday races and either be tapped out (same as losing huge bets on last two races Saturday) or suppose well ahead then either do nothing the rest of the tournament and be penalized or bet the minimum on each race, lose but still finish well ahead in the competition. In that comparison, makes sense not to penalize until the end

Can someone explain:
a) how did he wait until such a late race to begin making wagers when one has to wager $900 per on 5 races that day (wouldn't that alone be a disqualified?) and
b) why would it be different for 2 people to discuss their betting strategies than one person telling himself what his other ticket is holding and trying something different? I just don't understand t

Seems to me the handicapping contest for $10,000 with food, entry & 2 seats is a GREAT deal. If you're making money on this already possibly overpriced item (I went to Belmont Breeder's cups and had like seats for just $1.50 way back when) then it might be OK, but . . . .
Just saying; lots of hype. Unless meeting all the degenerates worth the difference.

Just want to be sure that the Thoro-Pattern and related percentages are based on last 3 numbers but do NOT(?) take into account the "tu" shown in his last race?
If you'd like to add value here (probably too little time, I understand) what would a 1 or 2 instead of the given value in last race do to Thoro-Pattern numbers/percentages.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Just took a look at the leader board:
I think it has everyone that entered (393 people.)
First, how can anyone have finished with a negative bankroll? (about 27 people - scroll down to bottom!)
Second, anyone have any knowledge of TG users entered: how many entered and how many finished in the top 80 (those with a bankroll higher than the starting $7500 bankroll)? This one a tough
