What kills me is everyone knows who are the bad actors. It seems just like in every other profession, they protect there own. Look at the Servis indictment, it wasn’t just one or two people. It’s the owners, trainers, assistants, grooms, vets, exercise riders and probably most jockeys. Code of silence.

First, they only tested the first 5 highest placed horses for testing. Then they did an out of competition test couple of days before the derby but did not test for permissible medication. The coach said they just buy the cream the vet recommends at the feed store and he doesn’t read the labels.
Wouldn’t you think that they would read the labels, do there own testing for everything along w

Turned Special Reserve from a 25k claimer to a Grade 3 winner. Nobody wondering how? Wondering if the authorities ever asked TG for info regarding move ups off claims and huge move ups in figs. You would think that would be probable cause for a search warrant a pen register, phone taps and under cover surveillance.

What will happen if both Baffert’s run pairs or tops, the xrayed clean, turned over the vet records and so did the vet, and have been tested multiple times.
If they x or off, the suspicions will grow.
I like both horses in the race , and actually see them running 1-2.
All this did was create a headache for people like me who are trying to bring new parimutuel money to the game.

If you trained Gamine, would you dope her? Treating her 18 days out is well within the withdrawal time they set. He admits giving it to her and she still tested positive, which suggests her metabolism is different than other equines.
I agree with TGJB, he ain’t dumb, he is aware of the situation he is in. This should be interesting. Delaware threw out Pletchers positive for this very same thi

You said it better than me, at that level, especially. Surprised that all don’t wear some type of gloves. I see the lip tattoo lady wears gloves, but she checks all the hoses in the same race with the same gloves. If you are check for picograms, you basically need a clean room , why not just stop at nanograms?
Didn’t realize the hate for Baffert until I read some of the Twitter comments. A

Agree that Baffert really pushes the envelope, probably past the grey point and into the black territory. Is he doping like Servis and Navarro, probably not.
And here is my logic. Mind you I am Polish, so take that into consideration. Joking. Baffert gets some of the best stock out there, wins the biggest races, has some deep pocketed owners. And on the backstretch , that breeds envy and suspici

That’s why testing isn’t the answer, you only can test for what you know about. Does doping occur? Absolutely! I know first hand it does. Surveillance is needed along with testing. They should treat the backstretch like Fort Knox. Random searches, limited entry , severe penalties for violations. How do you catch someone using Sgf - 1000, no test available, you have to watch them using it.

I think I suck at math, but anyways, the point was to show how sensitive the testing is, it’s 1 trillionth of a gram, pretty small

Baffert admitted that Gamine was treated, my point is setting thresholds that low, there is no room for error in withdrawal times.
I think surveillance, with meticulous record keeping which should be made public, along with testing , should be considered when reviewing a test. Assuming that like humans, every horse is different in its metabolism and how they process medication. Some humans need

Not to sophisticated, to sensitive. Did all derby entrants get tested?
What is interesting is they took an out of competition test on April 18th.
If the withdrawal time is approx. 2 weeks, reason would have it that MS would have tested positive on the 18th, or if he was treated after the 18th, the levels would be higher. Baffert swears that this colt never was treated with betamethasone. So jus

1 Picogram is exactly 0.000000000000001 kilograms. It’s like money in Miami. All covered in cocaine. Testing to a picogram , you are bound to find something that shouldn’t belong, and probably will not know how it got there.

I liked Bafferts horse a ton. Didn’t see a replay , but definitely thought MS would clear and be on the lead. Horse never gets past in his races so far. Singled whitemore in the pick 3 and four, and a back up ticket on the 10 thru 12 sequence the dead heater split the pool, only ticket cashed on the day. Didn’t put a cent a the nose of MS. Woulda coulda shoulda as my old friend Dave Feldman

Per Mac himself, he already bet 1.7 million on EQ, with another 500k coming in.

Mac’s promotion is for the derby favorite to win. With his 500k on Essential Quality, he made EQ the favorite, if you take out his bet, Rock your World would be early favorite on the tote by almost 100k. If he was betting the favorite, should he not wait till the public sets the odds to find out who the favorite will be? In this case he is making EQ the favorite. If RYW would / have been the fa

Medina Spirit is flying low , under the radar. Last race looked clearly like a prep, RYW loose on the lead , and who is this Baffert guy? Only entrant this year, previous loss was to Life is Good , who would probably been favorite for the roses, and with Caddo river out, it will probably be a merry go round with Medina Spirit and Highly Motivated running 1-2, will keep it simple stupid this year

Can’t believe Authentic was 8-1 for Baffert!!!
Pace seemed honest enough, that horse looks way better than the one that won the Haskell.

Is there data available that shows a horse’s chance of bouncing after running a new top while achieving that new top while winning a race in hand, by open lengths, versus running a new top in a grueling effort in an all out drive?
Is a horse less likely to retreat if he wins in hand? Thoughts?
I feel like a new top is just that , regardless of the winning margin or the riders encouragemen

This line had me almost inhaling bong water when I read it.
“MRS. DANVERS had the best view of the front runners travelling along the backstretch, got spotted onto the inside route at the top of the turn, began to fall back after the half, got called upon soon afterwards, stepped into the lane, tired readily in the final furlong“

The best tool to police these corrupt syndicates are the speed figs and the bettors. Always has been and always will be. Like rezleagal’s letter nailed that to a T, about Servis’s horse receiving all the late action. Who catches all the betting coups in other sports, it’s the bettors and sports books that sniff that out. Same in racing, just haven’t had the incriminating evidence that is

One wonders if the FBI used TG data to identify large jumps in figs to identify subjects, also Brad Cox says he is not taking any Rockingham horses that were trained by Navarro, lots of things bout to go down, one vet in the indictment said he injected 6 horses for another barn, the incriminating statements about Nanoosh should be enough to revoke all there licenses, bet your bottom dollar , ainâ
