Kinda weird but there is nothing in Santos's hand in my opinion. That black "object" in his hand is Bailey's silk in the background.

how is it that TG players were playing S. Blitz. Look at Jerry's post below. Also, according to Freedman, S. Blitz was the key and F. Cide was a MARGINAL use at ML!!!
You've got to be kidding.

I heard about the Shoe misjudging the finish line in the 57 Derby, I wonder what he has to say about it now? That's why I do my best not to bet Kentucky track, the Derby/Oaks is different but maybe not for long.

Welds's horse is not running.
I am going to play the fastest horse to run in the money. If Empire Maker is as strong as Frankel says then he should win the Triple Crown easily but I just can't play him except put in on top in the superfectas.
Ten Most Wanted: I don't see him running better than 1 3/4.
ATS: should have bounced in the last but didn't now has 4 wks in and is t

Now that Lukas has penciled himself for an in the money finish, will you guys have sheets available sometime this week? Oh, saw your commercial today on TVG, you better hope that fav. wasn't a Frankel horse.

You know, I was looking at it and I thought it was a typo on the sheets but I guess it is not. I would hate to be Trevor today.

Ok Chris: I have to see what # Empire Mker ran but if he ran a worse # than in the Fla Derby, I will not bet him at all since he will be 4/5.
Now, let's talk about Baffert's horse. Indian Express ran a 1 in the SA derby(going3w1w)and Kafwain probably ran a 2.5/3. Now, there is this distance question with Kafwain but I believe that this horse is coming up to a big race and Indian exp

That's why you need to use the odds. If your horse needs 2 pt top to be competitive and has a good line, you better get 10-1 or more on him. A 4pt top and you need 20-1 or more. There are a lot of guessing going on but the odds will help you stay sane!!! or not lose your pants.

I think it will be tough to beat O.W. but the other one I like is A. Venture. I think this horse can really move and is not shipping that far and has a great post.

I personally don't see ATS running better than a 2 on Derby Day and it's going to take a 0 to win this Race.

I took the exact opposite view. At 5-1, I figured SFF is about as high as she will be for the rest of her career. Most likely she will be odds on if she runs. I made a token bet to cover my other futures bet. It will be an interesting Sat. coming up. I wish we had the pk 6 at SA today!!!

KAFWAIN - 21 years ago
Don't know if he can get 1 1/4 but I do know he is the fastest 3 yr old in the land. The question becomes what # would it take in his next race for him to be a bet on Derby day? I think that # is a 3-4. If he x's completely, there is a smaller chance that he will return to his top but if he runs a 3-4, it will show that he is healthy and will probably take dead aim at the -2 in the De

It scares me when you start quoting Charley Barley. But, I must say, he is a character and one of the best shows on TV is the half-time and wrap-up shows on TNT on Thursday night.

I am the last person to defend Baffert but he knows his horses, remember, Point Given who two GI in August. Real Quiet and Congaree were given time off after the TC races. Baffert main goal every is the TC races and he does not worry where the horses will be in Sept. If you win 2/3 TC races you are most likely 3yr old champion and maybe horse of the year.

It's hard to say that the Big Cap attract all the best runners in the world the way the KY Derby and BC Classic does that's why you can win it off a layoff. If he trained EM up to the Derby, I would be more likely to throw him out than if he ran an off race in the Wood.

Training turf horses is very different from dirt horses. That why the Euro. do so poorly in the Derby. Look at Godolphin, they are trying to use turf tactics to get to the Derby. In Europe, a horse can come off a 10 month layoff and win a 1 1/2 race against the best horses in the world. For whatever reason, it can't be done on dirt against the very best horses. How many horses have won t

The last couple of months with Baffert and Frankel has made betting very difficult. Their horses have redefined bounce theory in my opinion and has made it irrevelant. Handicapping will have to be adjusted or stopped. Now, with these huge jumps in these young horses, you would think a bounce would come next but don't hold your breath or losing tickets.

As R. N. said last year, there is no way you beat the best horses in the world coming off a two month layoff, so if TNL wins and takes alot of money in the pools, there might be some overlays left. I believed last year that P. Drift was coming into the race with the best line and that horse was definitely short in the stretch last year. I firmly agree with you that a race within 4 wks of the bi

Let's see how good Frankel is tomorrow. I don't see how Trust and Luck can lose since Zadie is not going to run him anymore before the Derby and he should be prime, is the fastest horse and has the rail. Senor Swinger poses the biggest threat in my opinion. I also think S. Blitz will run well. I can't take the low odds on the slowest horse in the field, has as good a shot to ru

I don't want to say it again this week and lose again but I will have to agree with Chris and throw out the fav. and bet these 2 horses. I like Cide better but agree that Sky is also strong. Kafwain can run very well as all of Baffert's horses are running their tails off but not at 7/5 for me. I also, will put Peace rules in there for the exotics because of the odds and connection an

It's just amazing what these guys have done. I hope it's all honest hard work but I don't know. Let's look at the possibilties:
1)could the #'s be wrong, not likely.
2)is there some legal stuff out there that they guys have figured out over the last year(hyperbaric Oxygen, etc)doubt but maybe.
3)something funny is going on here.
It's just hard to handicap in

Congaree, HH, M. Brew, W. Emblem, P. Citizen, etc. It seems that horses that should be bouncing are not bouncing any more. You have to adjust you plays so much that it's might not be worth playing without some sort of rebate system in place. I think Congaree ran another -4. I refused to believe that this horse has "filled" out at age 5. Whatever it is I have never seen a horse
