Frank, don’t wait too long. I’ve been to every Million except when I was on our honeymoon (saw a Group 1 at Baden Baden to mark the occasion). Even ventured to Woodbine to keep my streak intact. I was lucky enough to be invited to a suite yesterday and had a birds-eye view of things. Grandstand seating was less than 50% occupied, west end parking lot was maybe a third full. Back in the day,

He also has run 8 of his last 10 in negative numbers and the other two don't miss negative by much. If by slightly, you mean within 2 points of his last, I say he has little chance of that.
Would be interesting to hear from anybody on track/Maggie as to how he looks. Personally, I'm not betting him at all as I disagree with him being live with an 8 point backward move. 4 horses in

From the Racing Post - LADY AURELIA put up one of the most devastating displays seen in modern times at Royal Ascot when blitzing to seven-length win in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes.
Time was 100.14. Group 1 older horses ran 102.69 yesterday. Group 3 3yo males ran 7f in 128.49 the race before LA. Awesome performance.

Saddlecloth numbers in Europe are assigned based upon sex, sometimes age and alphabetical. There were 4 F&M in the race, saddlecloths 11-14. Tepin, as last in alpha order was 14, but broke from post 12. The 13 saddlecloth had pp 1. Just a weird way of doing things.

After the race, Romans said he wished he had the exacta, but he didn't box it. I can't believe that.

The winner of the 7th was the distant 3rd choice in the double will pays (about triple the price of the two ML favorites), yet went off as effectively co-favorite in the race. The winner of the 8th was 2nd or 3rd choice in the p3 will pays, much more in line with his ML.

Right there with you. That would have brought home the p3, alive to multiple p3 tickets (including the all) in the next.
So close - what a perfect looking sheet.

Depending on the price (suspect no better than 3rd favorite and maybe higher), I am willing to forgive CS for her last. In watching all the Kee dirt races this spring, I have seen plenty of horses not run their race.
While I agree that CS is better one turn than two, she is plenty fast. As Rob started this string, she is the fastest horse in the race and not favored.

I think one of the issues right now is the East to West ship. JB has mentioned this in his Santa Anita BC comments. I suspect the acclimation process is worse when shipping the horses out in December or January. I know I bet against one of his in the stakes last Saturday for this reason (last raced at AQU on 1/9).

Slow day at work and after reading this string (and I never considered playing this track before this string), I decided to take advantage of the free information. Got in starting with race 4 and my bet of choice is P3/P4. Information was spot on today. Thanks.

Two other points in his favor - he's run well at Kee and won't mind give in the ground.

Flintshire was either going to run in the BC or the Japan Cup. Due to some vaccine issue, he could not do both and they opted for Japan Cup.

Per Kee website, 9f stakes are limited to 14 starters, so you have to assume the same for 10f.

I also hit the tri and super and Dudley hit the super. Also had a big double (and p3) going with the 2 that you suggested, so had excitement early and late in the race.
Maybe Alan with contribute the 10% in your honor!
Thanks Alan and everybody at the seminar.

Upstart is 50-1 for the Classic offshore. Not sure how big a bet they take.

Your future bet looks pretty good right now. Perfect trip, rating off the pace and just exploded in the stretch.

I don't know the answer either, but to clarify something Tavasco said, the points don't just disappear. Dubai Sky won the Spiral and at the time was not nominated to the Derby. He was a late nominee and keeps the points he earned.

I saw this as well. I believe somebody bet $1000 to win and show on him and the total win pool was under $1500. Second tick, he was 7/2 (or 9/2) with something like $6000 in the win pool.

I don't know how to link the article, so I cut and pasted this from a bloodhorse article dated 10/20
After an injured eye delayed the training of Sweet Reason this month, trainer Leah Gyarmati decided to allow the multiple grade I winner to make the final decision, through her Oct. 19 workout, on starting in this year's DraftKings Filly & Mare Sprint (gr. I).

I went to that first BC as a 27 year old kid. Stealing Jim's line about being a kid at Christmas, that is how I was when the BC was first announced. Seemed like forever for the day to arrive. Had great seats at Hollywood, but came down with such a bad head cold that I couldn't hear the planes flying overhead that day.
