Not sure I like this odds-on favorite first time turf as Tapizar hasn't produced any decent turfers out of nearly 70 horses. Going with #4 Willow Ridge, 2nd time out after showing some early speed on the synth, only needs to move forward a little here. Kirby's 3yo 2nd time out numbers are good as you would expect.by sekrah - Ask the Experts

Playing the Clement shipper in the 6th Penn Oaks. 2nd lasix, 2nd off the layoff. Should move forward here while saving all the ground. There's a couple faster but both are eligible to go backwardsby sekrah - Ask the Experts
Usually a smaller field, plus because it's so big you get horses spread out with different tactics. Less likely to run into trouble = More jump ups.by sekrah - Ask the Experts
Biggest card of the year in Grantville this afternoon. 7 stakes, 4 turf. Javy, Paco, and Irad in the house. There are a few turfers that will have a nice price with super competitive figs. More later...by sekrah - Ask the Experts

First time that I've seen it suggested that because a race is longer, it changes the horse's condition going into it. That's a bold strategy, Cotton.by sekrah - Ask the Experts

Anyone who buys that crap gets what they deserve. The flaws in that product have been well documented.by sekrah - Ask the Experts
If Tapwrit is a few points too slow then every horse in the race is a few points too slow except the one you are stuck on, and I haven't seen a pattern yet more likely to move forward than his. The first thing Graham Motion needs to do is dump Rajiv Maragh.by sekrah - Ask the Experts
Looking forward to seeing the other patterns from the new shooters (Twisted Tom might be interesting) but on first glance, it's going to be tough to find a better looking one than Tapwrit. Major contender.by sekrah - Ask the Experts

Good one Ace.. Makes me think of my first major score. I must have been either 18 or 19 and already knee deep in the game. It was on Preakness day, but I was at an OTB betting other tracks early in the afternoon. I believe it was at Delaware Park this happened. A horse got DQ'd moving me into a $1800 trifecta. Up until that point I was betting no more than $12 a race, I think my biggestby sekrah - Ask the Experts
I don't have anything too bone crushing like that P6 yesterday. I also try to forget about it. Probably too many $2k-$4k just misses to even begin counting. I did have a mountain of cash on Destin last year in the Belmont, that blew. I remember a Laurel Park race from around 2008, where I would have a trio of 30-1s in a trifecta but the third one lost a head bob. Probably missed outby sekrah - Ask the Experts
