Nice racehorse moved on to greener pastures the other day. Nice interview with Gary Stevens on ATR with Steve Byk. Steve also mentions JB writing something up about that years Ky Derby and having the exacta and trifecta. Any chance his sheet can be posted?

I stand corrected, Justify has gone 2 turns. Still a bad wager imo. Also, listen to Byks interview with Beyer re figure making re the weekends nmbrs. Lots of guessing it seems.

Yeah! Talk Derby to me!! Thanks Tav for prodding the conversation. So weird this years trail, or do I just have short term memory? My take... as mentioned here previously, how KEY has the KJC been? And to whoever has watched, the ride on Promises looks really strange. No knock on Alex Canchari but maybe he was just too inexperienced to ride that horse? Still, the run backs are what they are. I

Umm who cares? Ever lose some serious cabbage to close a p4 because of well, anything and not act like a jerk. Tough game. This is a business like any other, not to make friends. And why even broach the topic on the preeminent handicappy forum? Lets talk horses and racing and how can make money using Thorograph to eliminate Chad Brown. That is valuable! C'mon Lads, do better!

Jon White also mentions this on his Xpressbet column, as well as on the Podcast. He usually mention TG figures in a generic sense, usually not specific as is the case here. It is a standout figure though, and besides who is crazy enough to not use TP in a Derby Prep?

Appreciate the feedback. As an IT professional, I am of the opinion that having multiple versions available means that the current release has some issues. I cant tell you how many times I open DRF or Bloodhorse and see complete changes that make no sense, although content is admittedly different than a wagering platform.

Going in a slightly different direction but would appreciate some opinions... So, I get an offer from Xpressbet asking me to comeback and wager and I would get $20 for every $100 wagered. A 20% rebate, capped at $500. I'm in, made a few $$ and I'm 15% towards the cap, and 50% to hit the cap. I appreciate the gesture from Xpressbet I dont know if I can make it my go to wagering platform.

I have slowly transitioned away from parimutuel playing towards the tournament format, simply because I get a lot more action for my bankroll. However, I have found that after going through an entire "tournament" card, I am better able to find some good spot plays and thus have increased my ROI. Like everyone here, I love the game and am concerned about how tournament play may take $$ o

Heard Andy Serling publically pick against because of this move. Good for him. Also, Bejaranjo has 1 BC mount. Did he forget how to ride,is he a jerk, terrible agent? Are the other trainers taking loyalty to an extreme? He would be a major positive upgrade for some I think

I know that most on here are combing through the handicapping minutia looking for Breeders Cup clues, so hopefully you can find some time and enter the above contest on DRF. Its free and the race card (Australia) has the equivalent of The Pegasus. I'm gonna play it this way...if I recognize the breeding, jockey, trainer in that order, thats who I'm going with.

I have found that playing the DRF tournaments a suitable replacement for my wagering $$, I feel sheepish in a way though because these funds probably dont make it back into the handle and thus not helping those who need it to.
I dare anyone on here to tell me where you can find better entertainment value than The Racetrack at Saratoga... $5 admission (less if you buy the pass) and they let yo

So War Story/Cautious Giant are running as separate entries. Somehow, Looch managed to convince the NYRA Racing office that he is actually trying to win the race with CG. Ok, but he posts on his Twit feed referring to CG as his rabbit. Isnt that silly ahahaha,,, Much ado about nothing but as there is a connection to Navarro through common ownership I'm dubious. If he starts getting the usual

Weather looks spectacular for Fri and Sat, a little unsettled for Sunday. JB, with the new TG/NYRABETS alliance will they be kinder in location for the seminar? For NYRA Bets users, see the wager $50 get $20 on select stakes races. I love me some free money! Also, makes me aware that the WIN bet is ok. See you at the races, good luck all and mostly enjoy!

These pools at Thistledowns are OUT OF WACK! 5th race payouts were by FAR very generous on the only logicals 4,5,7. In the 6th The fav in the p3 is paying $54 and is 11-1 while the fav 1 is 6/5 and paying $178 while the 2nd choice 6 at 3-1 is paying $334...
result of small pools?

Dear TG posters and lurkers ...
When something isnt right it sure is easy to be critical and its hard to defend NYRA as they have made themselves an easy target. While my attempt to get my existing NYRABETS account converted to a TGPS account was unsuccessful, I truly believe that the consideration I have been shown by Thorograph and The NYRA Key Accounts team provides much hope that the horse

Red Cardinal a legit Melbourne Cup horse. If he doesnt have too much to do when they straighten out... That said, winning the Irish St Leger is no joke. There's your exacta.

Per NYRA this offer is only good for NEW account sign-ups. Now I get being excluded from any "New" account offers, but it would be nice to be able to participate in any earned benefits. Is that in the works?

This is one seriously bred horse horse for grass. Serious. Fact or fiction, is CD more forgiving to turf horses? No matter, I will be using, more for fun though. This can wait till after the race, but how would we be looking at his figs/pattern from a turf perspective? If he doesnt run well, I hope he has an excellent turf career.

Until Thoro-Graph provides figs for Tops-Pairs-X's based on pp (do they) here is some probably irrelevant information regarding such. Almost everybody is aware of the 1 and 20 stats but ... # 2 actually has a longer drought but WPS % is 26% while # 1 is 0%. 5,8,13 and 16 are all above 30% to hit the board. 6 and 10 are 25%, while 15 and 18 are just under 20%. 1 and 9 are 0%. 3, 14, and 20 ar

Arent Grade 1 Ky Drby horses supposed to work well and gallop out strong? Is it over-rated? Sure it matters but how much, if the work was in company?
While the figures say that the CA horses are slower, my opinion is that IRAP will run the best of them.
1. Exits "Key" race.
2. Came east and won.
3. 2x Drby winning trainer.

Mjellish - clues to price can hopefully be found in the early (Fri) wagering and the Oaks/Drby dbl will pays. However, I think this is all folly because of the AD drum beat getting louder from various news outlets. As for using defensively, maybe the wrong word. I might key him up/down in some small exactas with some longer horses. It is the Derby after all and I am ok with $250 exactas.

Lads - have we not seen this before? Wondering what he got out of those races? Paid workouts that they were... The giant TAP jump at umm GP, and now you get 3-1 to find out. I think he is creating value elsewhere. Florida Derby was a joke, what a bad field really including the misplaced decent horses. I hope Gunnevera runs well and am rooting for him and JJ. When did Brooklyn Boys ever buy a good

Speaking of intangibles, have read many of the different opinions and thoughts regarding such on these various threads. I too am looking for clues. So my question is this, as chaos seems to be the order in this years Ky Drby, shouldnt we be taking a more dogmatic stance in using TG figures? I'm going to and also apply the most critical intangible and that is 2 year old form. This is a tough
