I could have had an unlimited bankroll, a caveman ticket and a Godzilla ticket and still not come up with the #1 horse in the Test! It's been a frustrating few weeks. Soldiering on!

Did you hand him a drf, pat him on his head and send him on his way?

Should be a good day of racing. The two turf races in the sequence look to be the best opportunity to catch a price.
8) 3,5,6,7
9) 1,2,3,6,7,9,10
10) 4
11) 1,3,4,7,9,10,11
$98
For those looking to beat Frosted, here is my B ticket:
8) 3,5,6,7
9) 3,9,10
10) 2,4
11) 1,3,7,10
$48
Good Luck!

You are absolutely correct moose, this is a figure board and exaggerator has ran almost as fast on a dry track as he has in the slop. If you had to bet on one horse on a dry track however, who would you take? My money would be on Nyquist.

Silver, exaggerator has won exactly O races this year on a fast track. His 3 victories have all been on sloppy tracks with fast paces to close into. If exaggerator is running in ANY race the rest of this year on a fast track, I will be leaving him off my tickets. Until he can prove that he can win on a fast track, I will bet against. As for Nyquist, I will reserve judgement until he runs on a fas

After studying the tgraph data, I'm going to give the pick 6 a swing tomorrow on an extremely cheap ticket.
6) 2.Fastest horse on paper.
7) 2.Captain obvious.
8) 1,5,9,10. I'm sure many will lean to the 5, but the 1 is just as fast.
9) 3,6,7. I think the toughest race on the card. You could make a reasonable argument for any of the entries. I'll look for a price.
10) 3,5. Des

I'm kicking myself Leamas. I tried to be cute and only go 2 deep in the first leg. My pick 4 ticket was only $24, which I punched multiple times. I should have went with a bigger spread in the opening leg. $780 was quite the payout! All was not lost though. I had exactas in the 8th and 10th along with a few tri's in the 10th. I'm still kicking myself for being cheap on my pick 4 th

If it makes you feel better Leamas, I had the leg 2 winner in my pick 4. Unfortunately I didn't use your 9 in leg 1. I did use chrome as a single on my tickets.

I used her on the bottom of my tri's just for that reason. Oh well, now I just need to get by midnight storm and finnegans wake in my horizontal.

Jim, my comment of taking a stand was in reference to horsegoer asking why I left the 6,8,9 off of my ticket for the 8th race. The only stand I was really taking today was not using effinex or Catch a glimpse. Obviously that didn't work out to well for me, but I'm fairly certain I will play against both if they run at the Spa.

You have to take a stand somewhere. I was right in the first leg, but my stand in leg two proved to be fruitless.

I will not go into the great detail that Frank does when he posts his opinions, but here is my late pick 4 on Saturday. 4,6,7.10,13/2,3,4/4,6,7,11,13/2,5,6. $112.50 for 50 cents. The turf races seem to be pretty competitive, I could easily use a couple more horses in each. I'm just trying to keep the cost reasonable. Good luck to everyone today.

Governor Malibu ran close to the pace and was ready to make a big run before being stopped.

It's not just critical analysis that is dying, it is accountability and in many ways, honesty. I work in sales for the largest dental distributor in the world and spend my entire day dealing with Doctors' and their staff. You would be amazed at how many can never give you a straight answer about their business or when they do, they lie through their teeth.

That was some good advice that old timer gave you. On the flip side, you can't win if you don't play! Lol:) On to next weekend and the Foster card at CD.

Virtually everyone on the TVG crew picked him. They put up the picks of like 10 of their talking heads and only 2 had anyone other than Exaggerator if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the opinions Phily and Jimbo. It's never easy to keep ones perspective when it's your horse getting taken down. I was still smarting from the ride Rosario put on my key horse in the Belmont, so the takedown was just par for the course today.

Thanks for the response. I looked at the replay and didn't really see anything. That must have been some very minor brushing.

Apparently I'm on a roll. Watched the 12th on my computer and see that my 3 wins, come back a few minutes later and they have the 8 as the winner. Obviously he got taken down, anyone know why?

I had Governor Malibu wheeled up and down in exactas and tri's. Rosario cost me a nice chunk of change! That's horse racing, ugh.........

Not sure there is much money to be made in the verticals here. I'll probably just use these 2 in the horizontals and hope to catch better priced horses in the other legs.

I agree. However, chance of thunderstorms tomorrow. Could be an off track or soggy turf making the handicapping more challenging.

I'm a little surprised that SBN sits at 24-1. All of my wagers center around him and Mor Spirit. If either run 1st or 2nd, I should do well. I used Whitmore on the bottom of a couple of tickets. Good luck!
