I though the rule on the 0-2-x was the it had to be within a 42 day span? Her Pacific Classic-Zenyatta-BC Classic will be well over that, correct?

I don't have a problem with taking a stand. That's part of the game. I didn't quite understand why he had to insult the trainer of the horse in the process.
Also backfired on Jess's Dream. Basically, persuading his readers to not use the horse. Proclaimed this on Twitter, as well.

Worst clocker error for me was the one that talked me off of Runhappy in the King's Bishop. This popular clocker claimed that Runhappy was badly mismanaged and refused to work in the morning. Wish I could get the chance to mismanage a horse that fast.
After purchasing several reports this summer, I've come to the conclusion that they are only useful for evaluating first time starte

Way back in the late '80s, I think Lukas ran 6 in one of the fall Belmont races for fillies & mares (Ruffian H.?). Can't remember all of them, but it seemed like Family Style, Coup de Fusil, Fiesta Gal were a part of the field.
Also, Lukas entered 5 in the 1988 Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies and finished 1-2-3.

Did Jacobsen lose his top client, as well? The Drawing Away Stable moved to Navarro, correct? Perhaps, this contributes to the poor record.

25 minutes later, Cox off-the-claim runner Aloha Daddy runs a hole in the wind (1:09:2) and drives 1-2 fav Officer Griffin into the ground in :21, :44 splits.

That was tough to watch.
Horse was a ticking time bomb after the claim from Ramsey last year and a long layoff.

Somebody might double check me on this:
Pletcher on Belmont Day
Starters Top Pair Off X
13- 3- 2- 5- 3
Pletcher on Preakness Weekend
Starters Top Pair Off X
6- 1- 0- 4- 1
(The top was Commissioner and 1 of the "offs" was Stopchargingmaria, who won her stakes with a p

Yes, I've been doing this long enough that I should know better, but:
We know 5 pounds = 1 TG point. Is that across ALL distances? Or does 5 pounds not equal as much at shorter distances? and more at longer distances?
Looks like some of these weight differences could make things interesting in a lot of these Belmont undercard races.

Would that make Carpe Diem a 0-2-x?
Interesting price to round back into form off a 5 week break into the Belmont?

Anybody concerned about Firing Line's unwillingness to switch leads down the stretch of the Derby? I think its very possible that the horse could be sporting a small injury of some sort, perhaps a knee chip?
If you are ok with the lack of lead change, then Firing Line is your Preakness key.

Paulick Report
According to the Paulick Report, Stanford is 50/50 to run. That would be one less pace player that the favs have to deal with. Would be a huge scratch.

Wonder if TGJB will have any analysis for Tale of Verve in the seminar.
Dallas has pulled some rabbits out of his hats, but this is borderline ridiculous.
This would also end any reasoning for Zayat to scratch Mr Z and El Kabeir to improve American Pharoah's starting position.

Scratching Mr Z and bringing in Frammento would still give us 20, so new moving in or out. However, scratching Mr. Z AND El Kabeir would possibly allow for 19 (assuming 21 enter), especially if American Pharoah draws a disadvantageous inside post. I believe they would move all runners out 1 post if 19 are to run.

Originally, I couldn't get away from this horse fast enough after his Blue Grass effort was labeled slow by the Beyer bean counters.
After several days of studying Thoro Graph and watching all of his previous races, I'm trying to resist the temptation to jump back aboard. Seriously, has TAP ever had a contender look this ready to make a forward move, ever? Horse pairs up his 2 year

I think the obvious answers for me are:
1) American Pharoah with the bar shoe (reminds me of the Unbridled's Song circus and his training in the bar shoe. Don't know if the bar shoe was the problem or the incredibly hot pace that did him in)
2) Materiality- because that's what these Pletcher horses do.
My guess is that one or both of these will be retired to stud in the n

I did an impromptu study of all of Baffert's runners back to Cavonnier:
2 starts(prior to Derby)5 total, 1 top, 1 pair, 3 off/x
3 starts(prior to Derby)9 total, 3 top, 2 pair, 4 off/x
4+ starts(prior to Derby)8 total, 2 top, 0 pair, 7 off/x
This doesn't necessarily have to be accurate (I did it in 15 minutes) and it's also assuming Cavonnier ran a top in the Derby, though I

I think the problem is that we've all been down this road before chasing these TAP horses that spring up out of Florida and start dominating everything in their path: Constitution, Danza, Verrazano, Eskendereya, Algorithms.
Let's be honest, we are all expecting this horse to show up with a hairline fracture or a bone chip or something that is going to knock him off the trail.

Looks to me like the jock switch from Cornelio to Jose Ortiz did this horse a world of good. I watched the Gotham replay and it seemed to me that Cornelio Velasquez didn't ride Tencendur with a lot of confidence. Seemed a bit tentative with him, especially around the far turn.
Ortiz put the horse into the race earlier in the Wood and it just seems like this guy likes to grind it out and w
