I'll take the bait.
Assuming Jerry's comment already includes the 2015 running:
In short: since 2016 (excluding 2020): 12 neg figures. 2 winners. and 2 more ITM. So 4 ITM. Of these 4, the negative number going in was not faster than negative 1.
So adding to JB's 13 year tally, 51 negative figures. 12 ITM... I think the takeaway is that you it might be OK to have a negati

Annual question for the team as to when we might expect a release of the sheets that provide the probable entries for the big May 1 race? I know it's a little far out with more defections surely to be had but by my estimations (predictions) I would guess anything north of 20 points would get you in the gate, should an owner be so inclined.

Interesting point on the SA Derby race. Very curious to see what sort of figure the winner comes back with, I assume it will be one of the quicker this derby season.
If my assumption is correct, there remains the unfortunate question we will have to deal with. Which is what to do with Sadler shipping east?
That aside, congrats to both Kendrick and Umberto for getting derby mounts. Could n

Team, I know this might be giving something up with the horses that ran behind him, and if so apologies for the question. That said, it appears Life Is Good is heading to the shed. Out of curiosity, would you care to tell me what you have his last race at?
Thanks.

Dare I ask? Or do I shut up and be happy with my short answer?
Also, thx.

JB, question for you. I know you guys have the X for running on a dead rail. Has there been any consideration to indicating horses that ran against a gold rail? Or similarly, horses that rode a gold rail? Or is this not as important a factor as noting horses who ran against a dead rail?

Not sure if anyone caught it, but the winner didn't look so great after the race (bleeding). Let's hope this is not a sign of things to come...
Also. The ML for that race was one of the worst I've seen in quite some time.

Haha. Totally get it. Also sort of “if you can’t put the time to learn then you don’t deserve to understand it†sort of thing. Please forgive the unsolicited advice.

Didn’t see this but enjoyed it.
Question for JB and team, has there been any thought to updating the now 30 year old video introducing the sheets? This has been one major gripe from people I’ve heard when trying to introduce them into this product. Of course, I point them to the other videos available that explain the product in modern terms (BC seminars) but that never seems to get the p

Thx, Jerry. Love how Vic sneaks those in there and goes “hey! What!? Who put that in there!†Excellent sense of humor on him.

It’s all about comparing par numbers to the data provided. My favorite section is the last 90 days.
If it’s thcropattern you’re asking about... From what I’ve read on this website (it’s been a lot) the TG pattern data is for newer users to help gain an understanding on this product. Personally, I pay no mind to it other than outliers that I see based on an accumulation of informati

DRF has moved their DRF Ticketmaker to a paywall. Which is disappointing, although I will not miss having to punch 15-20 separate tickets every time I want to play a pick 5. There is a somewhat lesser known ADW that offers the ABC ticket making approach but I choose to stay loyal to my NYRAbets account for all the good things they offer (most notably, TGPS affiliation).
Curious if anyone from

I'm sure there are people much smarter than I am on this board who can provide a more thorough synopsis of the hearings that took place yesterday on the ongoing federal indictments of our famed 30%+ trainers.
A few takeaways:
- Trial is not likely to begin before July.
- SDNY did not rule out further indictments to be rolled out. However to no surprise, a time line was stated. This

I'll add my 2 cents.
Public Sector - Chad Brown horses with less than competitive figs coming out of races with a Sl_Pace are almost always looking at a 2-3 point improvement when they finally get something to run at. Looking through the BC Sheets, you will find countless examples of this. If this horse gets that today, it will put him squarely in the middle of this. I also think 8F hits

My guess would be to refer to the archives section. Especially the “are horses getting faster†link, the link that speaks to race tracks, and finally the BCBC historical sheets which will give you a gauge for patterns at each age level. The data is available on this website for you to make an informed opinion on patterns, par figures, among a number of items.

Unfortunately we will not be this Saturday at the KD, a fever yesterday afternoon took us away from this great dream, first is the health of our King Guillermo who will be ready to show that he is one of the best in the country sooner rather than later.

JB, can you clarify the last fig on Diamond Oops (Oaks day, r13/post 1)?
The sheet says "Neg", but doesn't have the "-" behind the fig and thoropattern indicates it was not negative.
Thanks!

I’m so against this horse. King G all day. Will defer your our lord and savior on the seminar but this horse has the breeding and the TB Derby was the most impressive race pre May 5. So I’ll go with that. NY Traffic, Attachment Rate, Thousand Words will be rounding out the $1 box super for me.

Chad Brown does it again. Horse was the slowest on paper by 2-4 points depending on who you compared him to in that field. And the horse moves up to take that race. I've only been using the sheets for 4 or 5 years, and seriously playing horses for maybe 6, and I've never seen a turf trainer have the ability to move up horses to a point where they win.
What do the experts attribute t
