TGJB, Interesting observation about California being all over Frankel. Everyone knows how he all but completely has left sunny CA, leaving behind a smaller group of his 2nd string, and is now back home in NY with most of his best runners. At least til it starts to snow.
I assumed he left CA because he got home sick or because of the better climate here in the east or to get away from the high

jbelfior, Why do you assume I played Frankel's horses on Saturday? I never said I did-and I didn't. I eliminated them for other reasons however and not because of the unproven belief of some that he and others are involved in activity's during the year that they cannot get away with on BC day. There are some logical reasons given by others on this board that clearly explain the p

More innuendo of wrong doing without proof. Jerry, I expect more from you than this. There's been "guards" watching barns on BC days before Bond & Dickenson down at GP, what's that got to do with the often discussed subject of just how much illegal activity's are being conducted and accusations made without disclosing proof? To me it's an easy excuse to explain

I'll stick with the TG numbers as they are instead of your "adjusted" figs, thank you.
Geez, Classh go out on a limb just once and either take a stand for or against the horse.

Anyone else in addition to bdhsheets and myself giving Dynever some serious consideration? Could you ask for a better pattern of development? Starts out with a 5 first out in Feb. Real nice and not so fast as to hurt. Moves forward 1 1/2 points going 2 turns for the 1st time and continues to move forward nicely in his next. Perhaps reacted to the new top but only slightly and pairs-up in his

Great now you've got the BC races narrowed down to about 99 horses with only a week left. Just a quip, please take no offense.
Is it just me that notices Volponi is faster this year than last and coming-up to next weeks race with a similar pattern as he did last year? I'm praying for some moisture in the track just like last year. It's early yet and I've just glanced at th

You made some slanderous accusations regarding Frankel in your previous post-Empire Maker Toast- which I challenged and asked you for some proof to back up what you said. You never responded. Frankel has responded by winning 2 more Grade 1 stakes on 2 coasts this past weekend. Now's another opportunity for you to either publicly apoligize for your slander or present your proof of wrongdoin

Big talk Frost King. Slanderous accusations of wrong doing and you present no proof to back up what you are implying. So Frankel is lying about the injury to cover up illegal medication usage? Where's your proof.

How often are the trainer and sire stats updated? Every day? Once a week? How much of a lag time is there between what's on the sheets and what the real stats are. Let me give you two examples of what I'm asking, one for the trainer and one for the sire. For the last 90 days trainer stats for example how many days (I'm assuming it's only days) behind the previous days races

It's tough to get a table on Travers day unless you go at 7am when the gates open and stake your claim to a picnic bench or...have a horse running.

None are fast enough yet and I have my doubts they will get there by October to run with Volponi, MD, Congaree, Mineshaft, Harlan's Holiday (even though I believe this one is toast) and dare I include others like Evening Attire and Candy Ride! And that's not even including the overseas horses like Moon Ballad. This years crop of 3 year olds is indeed fast but the older horses listed ar

Well, Blue Boat's giving weight, admittedly only 2 lbs, to 2 other's who have run faster Hydrogen and Seattle Fitz. And Blue Boat's not that much faster than a few others. I'd pay more attention to the euro races if they were stakes but they were all allowance contests. Kimmel beat me with Hydrogen when he won opening day last year on a drying out off track-I believe in a off

I believe PeeGee's been putting on the blinkers and taking off the blinkers with this one dating back to his 3 year old campaign, maybe earlier. Paraphrasing PeeGee's comments I've read about this is he believes changing things like blinkers on and off as well as racing on both dirt and grass keeps this horse on his toes and interested in running. I do know for sure that the blin

Jerry, What's the name of the filly Graph Racing recently purchased with the hopes of going in The Prioress? How's she been training of late. Anything you'd like to share with us folks on the outside looking in.

The Delaware race is included with the Belmont sheets, thank you but that gives us only 2 out of the 3 races in this pick 3. Will we have to purchase the Stephen Foster seperatly or is it missing from the Belmont package or will the Stephen Foster be the ROTW?
Thanks in advance

BTW, Does anyone remember me. Defeating Forgeo in his last race in The Nassau County Hcp back in 78 and then going on to win the Surburban and running that fall against Affirmed, Alydar, Slew, Great Contractor and Exceller in the JCGC? I miss my former owner and Trainer. A never to be forgotten dynasty from the good old days of racing.

I'll make a case for Irish Colonial, despite being a couple of points slower going in. First, he's getting weight from several of the top contenders. He has the tactical speed which should keep him out of traffic while saving ground at the same time. He's only improved less than a couple of points from last year which to me says a move forward to a new top tomorrow is very poss

Rich, shhh. You'll spoil the price on both of them for both of us. You have a problem though. I am the kiss of death for horses in the derby. I can't remember the last time I cashed a ticket on this race. And I've been going to the races since the late 70's. Oh yeah now I remember I cashed a field bet at 4-1 in the very first pool of the first futures bet in 99.

I've wanted to say the same thing for a while now. Well said!
Are there some folks out there actually spending money on TG sheets, DRF, programs etc. then spends hours handicapping a days worth of races only to ulitmately say I'm going to wager on this horse today because I believe the connections are using illegal drugs? That's just plain silly. We just don't know so why ev

Eye of The Tigers' got the same kind of pattern with a slower top though so he'd have to run faster than he ever has to be there but it won't be the first time a horse has run a new top in the Derby. The same could be said of Funny Cide who's been running faster than Eye of The Tiger although he has that jinx of having run that fast 3 1/2 as a 2 year old, too fast too early?

I'm guessing that negative 2 for Kafwain has got to be the lowest number for a 3 year old so early in the year, in any year. Lots of time left to recover from the effort before May 3rd. May not even have to run that fast again to win on May 3rd. He's 18-1 right now in the future pool and with him not running this weekend there's a good chance to get a better price than that. I
