Good point about the inside post that Dunbar had. It concerned me as well.

Wide post. Off of a 4 point jump with nothing in the past to indicate that's anything near what she is.

Not a bad day.
Caught the turf sprint thanks to TG. Caught ol' man Whitmore (incredible ride by Irad) and the number. Would have been a career day if Manny Wah didn't get mugged in the stretch. Easily second at 65-1 with any luck.
Dunbar Road for second would have been nice. Valiance? Really?
Caught the Bafferts in the Classic (btw I love the racing comments on Twitter asking why

Ok, I'll start.
1. I think Dunbar Road will outrun her likely double digit odds. Using underneath
2. The mile and 1 1/2 turfs have the best chance of producing the day's biggest upset.
3. Baffert's winning the Classic.

Another example why there is no better product, especially on the weeds IMO.
See Imperador (13-1) in the 8th at Churchill today.

The early King G, Ny Traffic, Authentic matchup will be interesting. I'm thinking they run the same race for him as they did on his comeback in Tampa. Puts JV in a stalking position which may not be Authentic's strength. Paco may not be far off of that. TTL will have more ground to make up on the turn than he did in the Travers and will be wide while doing it.
I'm looking for a

The 1 3/16 turf races up there tend to have a much different flow. The shorter distance turn of foot types usually are up against it versus a forwardly placed type.
Take them out of their best flow and you get Enola Gay and Decorated Invader results. Combine that with the slower TG numbers for both, and it's Christmas in August.
Btw-the first two in the Saturday race were impressive,

Curious to see both Rock Emperor and Desert Stone's TG numbers.
If one had Desert Stone(I did),one has to wonder if German football, ping pong, or even darts would have been a better idea yesterday.

A couple of observations:
Cruguet(or was that Cordero?)should have spurted away with Slew after the 1:11. 3/5.
Victor Espinoza should never be allowed to ride another virtual race.
When did the hood come off of Secretariat and why were the bettors not informed?

Put 6 in the gate. Bid, Slew, Curlin, Arrogate, Gun Runner, Affirmed.
All as 4yos, all carrying 126. A mile and an eight at Saratoga.
Who are you taking and why?

Not a bad effort from Farmington Road. Wide, wide, and wider versus an inside speed bias. May get the best figure in the race.

Thanks Mike. Caught the 10-8 exacta for enough where I may actually consider betting that place again someday.
Went all speed at the bottom of the tri and super and would have nailed both as well if not for War Story doing something I thought was impossible at Gulfstream at a 1 1/8th. Was not in the picture as the field approached the quarter pole. Amazing.

Just watched last year's Cigar Mile. Curious ride on "Pat on the Back" by Dylan. Horse hangs in tough despite chasing the Chad winner.
A bit light in the numbers, however one turn a better fit and he's usually the one spotting, not getting weight.
Smarter tactics today could land him in the exotics at double digit odds.

Whitmore wearing his two brand new bar shoes tomorrow. Draws the rail where breaking slowly is not an option and closing sprinters usually do not benefit from the addition furlong.
Based on how I'm going lately, I would definitely key him if I were you.

None better and I'll use the Shadwell as an example.
I took a brutal beat yesterday with First Premio and Miguel Mena who had to alter twice behind the British Cowboy Jamie Spencer.
The point here is the winner and First Premio were not difficult to come up with if you had TG while the public sent them off at 8 and 28-1 respectively.
Terrific job as usual. Hopefully next time the F
