Anyone else see the story on Lava Man on ESPN. They was talking to the owner's and the guy was talking about the data he uses to look at or buy horses and he was sitting there with a racing form and a Thorograph sheets in his lap.

Millennium Farms Super Frolic, pre-entered in the Breeders' Cup Classic – Powered by Dodge (gr. I), was shipped to Churchill Downs Tuesday and is now in the barn of trainer Scott Blasi.
Blasi, who is running the Steve Asmussen's stbale while he serves a suspension, said Wednesday morning he did not know whether he would be listed as the trainer for the 5-year-old son of Pine Bluff when

You can find the TG sheets right next door to CD, you don't have to go too far.

Let me try this again, looking over the race of the week. I've landed on TOMMASI 30-1ml as my top pick. The timing is right for this horse to make one more move forward maybe around the 0.2 level and give him a shot at this.
While were on big races, KEE race 9 the feature. I'm going to play STARRY PIE also 30-1ml, look's like I'm trying to get some extra cash right beofore

You guys didn't have anything to say about ACCOUNTFORTHEGOLD ( unless I just missed it ) ? He look's like he might be ready to either pair up or push forward again and at 12-1 he might have a shot.

Unless Len and Jerry do battle, I don't think it matters how you do it. That's the only way it would say anything. Doing this avg. the best of the last two or whatever it was is just silly. Is that what sheet reading is about now? Both do very well in the world of handicapping and both sides know this.

I seen it also. My dad and I was talking about how bad he was acting up during warming up and glad we didn't have him on our bets (even though our horse ran like shi*t anyways). This horse always looked good with his neck arched and full of his self, not on sat. though.

Rubin Boxer's "Engineering Analysis Of Thoroughbred Racing" explains in detail how to compute the extra distance traveled by horses running outside the rail position. To compute the extra distance a horse runs from the outside post:
Multiply the distance, in feet, to the turn from the starting gate by itself.
Multiply the distance, in feet, from the outside post to the rail by

Anyone playing HOL today, if so any thoughts on this race? I think at 6-1ml PRIVATE HALL looks like a good play. Might back her up with couple of others in here. PH could be a horse ready to run another new top off that 16.3 in her last race.

Well I use both Rag's and TG, first saw her on Rag's where two races back that race was right up there with the others on number power and the line looked fine. Then I checked TG and saw the pattern was fine also, she had only moved 2pts from her 2yr top and had the timing into the race. I wasn't worried about the post she was a closer so I knew Mark G. would get her over with all

I think it's bad for LR and BD now there's about 5 other speed horses to the inside, they either stay with them and go wide or they drop in behind, meaning they will be off the pace where BD won't like it.

Good maybe LR and BD will draw the far outside. I think the speed horses will be the only ones hurt by outside post-draws. I don't think the trainers want post 1 or 2 for their speed horses either.

Does he have a choice but to rate. He's not fast enough up front to run early with the others and how will he handle running 4th or 5th for the frist time.
