Matareya just aired for Godolphin in the Beaumont at Keeneland. I'm no figure maker but if Radio Daze paired up, then Matareya probably earned a fig that would make her a Ky Oaks contender if they duplicate the route that Bird Town did several years ago. Regardless, Matareya was out of this world today.

Is there any chance you could post Asmussen's top/pair/off/x stats in Kentucky only over the last 30 days?

Hello all,
I have a question about the last figure for Slumber Party in the Beaumont Stakes at Keeneland. It looks like she bounced off of her debut fig, but digging into the race - the Beaumont is run at the Beard Course distance of 7 furlongs and 184 feet (equibase says abt 7 furlongs). The TG sheet just says the race distance is 7 furlongs.
Is there any chance you guys calculated the fi

Hoping Caddo River goes to help spice up the pace, which is something recent runnings have sorely missed. Very interested to see numbers for Hot Rod Charlie, Highly Motivated, Known Agenda and even Super Stock now. Think all will benefit from a faster than par pace.

Thousand Words ran a 104 Beyer yesterday at Del Mar. Maybe a -1 TG or so? I would estimate that if this number is accurate, then all members of the quartet earned a new top, including Honor A. P., who certainly didn’t look like he was at his best, but was 2 paths outside the winner the entire journey.
In addition, the 3rd and 4th place finishers would have had to make significant leaps, as

Any chance at all we could get a seminar for Arkansas Derby day? Might be the last big day of racing we’ll get for awhile.

I love compiling a list of horses that raced on dead turf rails after Derby weekend and then betting them back. This year, however, it looks like several of the "dead rail runners" ran well relative to those that didn't. Would you consider this year's version of the dead rail less of a hindrance than years past?

Not a lot of talk about the "other big race" this week and there's probably good reason for it. I find the race very confusing and am anxiously awaiting the seminar to help clear things up.
From my limited knowledge of sheet reading- Bellafina looks like the one most likely to win the race- with the big 2 year old top, exceeding the top, getting the bounce out of the way, and re

There is an app called GoodNotes that allows you to mark on your pps. It's pretty handy for me. Think it costs about $5. Well worth it, in my opinion.

Glyshaw barn is certainly on fire. Looking at the redboard room, prior to yesterday's race, Glyshaw has been hitting 33% new tops over the last 90 days with an ROI of $4.21, which sticks out like a sore thumb when you look at the other percentages.
Glyshaw has Dark Arden entered on Wednesday at Keeneland- probably a horse that has contributed to that 33% number.

My partnership always seemed to have its best luck claiming late season 3 year olds that are about to turn 4. Thus, you'd be able to take advantage of a horse maturing and coming to hand at the right time.

Just curious how/where you heard the info about Abel Tasman being sick when Baffert got her. I have not been able to find this anywhere. Is this documented or did you overhear it?
Thanks!

Anybody got any thoughts on this work? Providence Road, his workmate, is a 4 year old sibling to Toby's Corner. He's an 0 for 3 maiden (4 year old) that has not really threatened.
With that said, IWC moved ahead of his rival late in the work without being asked. I'm not a judge of horse flesh, but if anything, Motion has gotten this horse to relax.

Re: Irish War Cry
I suppose I would be taking a bit of creative license here, but what if we draw a line through IWC's Fountain Of Youth? Would you be more inclined to view the horse as a standout? That is kind of the stance I am taking here.
IWC is a May foal, so he'll be turning 3 during Derby week, thus he's still maturing. Plus, he is being managed by a future Hall of F

It's the offseason and not much going on, so I'll toss a stupid question out there:
I don't know squat about harness racing and am in no way interested, but are there any figure makers out there similar to ThoroGraph that do sheet-style numbers for the Standardbreds? Seems to me that ground loss is just as crucial to that game as it is to ours especially at the 1/2 mile ovals.

Thanks for this.
I believe 2013 was the year where all 2 year olds were forced to run without Lasix, so if you drop those 2 winners you get a total of:
10 - Lasix
6 - No Lasix

Alicia Wincze-Hughes of the BloodHorse reports on October 22nd that:
"Tepin and the rest of the Casse Breeders' Cup contingent are slated to have their final works at Churchill Oct 28 and ship to California Oct 31."
Per a tweet from Alicia for Romans horse Not This Time on 10/22:
"Ships tomorrow (October 23rd) to Santa Anita for BC."

Nice work. Would be interesting to know if those winners were on/not on Lasix. Especially, those runners with new tops.
