Re: Just An Opinion (Everyone's got one) - 2 years ago
for racing? great, sure. for the horse? I do not think she hits the super. Not fast enough, and she flattened out the last time she tried this at Oaklawn. Not much of an excuse there. ... this isn't Rachel. Oaks / Acorn / Alabama if memory serves correctly.by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts

ha fair enough... also, I agree with you on the Preakness. Terrible move.by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts

ha im not implying any thing on Dwayne's part. Race fell apart and the best (only?) true closer won. Simple as that, IMO.by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts

Are you reading into him scratching his horse at the last second and thereby allowing a horse who was sitting on the best race of his life to draw in? Or are you just complimenting his attire?by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts

Re: Hey guys... - 2 years ago
I'm young and don't get the first part but man is he bad. sure he is a great guy but is that really the best they can do? between him and Serling (the worst) NYRA is a cast of misfits (Love Maggie and Stabile).by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts
Re: Hey guys... - 2 years ago
meanwhile us NYRA players are stuck with Johnny I. ... my dog could call a better race than that guy.by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts
Re: EVERYBODY KNOWS... - 2 years ago
upon reflection, I think this is the correct take. Blazing pace and horses out side of Zandon and Epicenter (more on him later), horses that finished top 5 were all way far back at the first call. Simply put, the Race broke down and the horse with the fastest closing pace fig (time form) got a great ride weaving between horses to steal the race. If the best horses on paper, or in the race, won 10by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts

KY Oaks - Yuugiri - 2 years ago
Fellow sheet players... Is Yuugiri not sitting on a huge race? Horse is screaming for it in my opinion. Most think this is a tough field but I see bounces or competitive horses.by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts
Re: Review - 2 years ago
Holy Bull is a tricky one because you had Simplification blow the break and a poor ride by Irad (by his own admission). White Abarrio has looked good enough but I'm not convinced he wants all of 10F. I don't recall a derby in the last 8 years that I've had more questions than answers at this stage.by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts
Re: Review - 2 years ago
thanks JB. Between the open length winners at Aqueduct and the limited races / small sample at GP, I have been scratching my head all winter/ spring at some of these dirt races across all figures. This is not an easy time for any figure maker and I don't envy the job. Random question. In the simplest form, what is one to do with a lower to mid level horse that wins by open lengths? Oaks / Derby probables - 2 years ago
Question for the team. Curious when we might be able to expect the probables released for the Oaks and Derby fields. thanks!by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts

this was impressive. can't recall seeing a horse come from that far at that track since the big A.by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts
Re: TGaaS - 2 years ago
I noticed. My idea was turning TG into a subscription model vs pay per track. Obviously, after having thought about it, is not a great idea considering it would probably be less lucrative for JB in the short (in probably longterm).by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts

TGaaS - 2 years ago
While TGPS is no longer a thing I would feel remiss to wonder about the “software as a service” idea and if it ever came to TG. Netflix takes in millions each month. I’d be curious to see what TG would take in at a competitive amount? … also. A clocker would be great.by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts

Re: Breeders Cup Post Mortem - 3 years ago
Looking at the figs, I guess the only thing I can say is that at least the horses I bet on in the contest ran their races (modern games, included). Just hit the post one too many times and a little too much favoritism towards got stormy and a little less towards space blues, even with the killer post on GS. ... has anyone heard an explanation on Jackie's Warrior?by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts

Re: Even Blind Squirrels - 3 years ago
I still cannot believe how breeders / buyers continue to pay top dollar for horses trained by Baffert. It's like they time and time again do not learn their lesson. The answer is right in front of them and yet they still for over money hand over fist.by bluechip21 - Ask the Experts
