That's because he still maintains some good will for me for lighting up the bottom of the Travers super last year. I eventually stopped betting him on top and just keyed him on the bottom of exotics. Used him under your logical 4 (boxed)in the BC Marathon in 3 and 4 hole. I thought the data was great for the BCC despite some poor structuring of bets by yours truly.

LOL on Afleet Again. I flushed a lot of money down the drain on that horse over the last two years and figured that if you weren't on him here, he had no shot.

Great read. I would encourage a second look at Force Freeze in the sprint. His last two should have him right there and should be a big price.

Caspar Netscher will be my key. Using him with Finale who couldn't be doing better according to connections, and has numbers power to boot. Will also use Wrote based on Silver's endorsement.

Z's list of wins in Cali Filly & Mare G1s in 2010 did not include one horse that ran in the Breeders Cup Ladies Classic.

The most exciting/surprising thing for me was Gio Ponti first preference in the Classic. I love the idea of running him in this spot to end his career but would be surprised to see him there.

Agree that he was a toss, but didn't Invasor win classic off a similar campaign at Churchill?

This is a lightly raced 3YO who hadn't gone backwards yet and had paired his top in a SL Pace race. I am just wondering playing Monday morning QB if there is something in the breeding or trainer stats that I missed or if it as you say, a complete abberation. He had won two races since the equip (blinkers) and surface change and was coming off paired tops. I feel better if it is one of tho

Would like a post-mortem on this one. A bomb hits in the ROTW producing those type of payouts and all we got was a "too slow to contend." What did we miss.

Listen. I don't feel bad for Tricky. He brought it on himself. But as long as Rudy Rodriguez is ITM at Saratoga at the same % as Chad Brown and more than Pletcher, Mott, Kieran, etc. color me unconvinced that this is more than a headline grabber.

Looks like the NYRA has found their scapegoat and can proclaim that the sport is clean.

I thought it was interesting that Johnny V asked off THAS to ride Rattlesnake Bridge.

what effect did yielding turf have on results here?

Think he gets 3rd if he doesn't get squeezed in stretch which I think would have made a lot of folks on this board happy.

Thx. Ignoring fake raw time, read in context with the next 5 finishers, the TG 0 would seem light. 4 of next five were coming off 0s or neg numbers.

Miff. What do you think about the Teddy Drone 6F sprint winner. Unless all of the next 5 horses X'd, doesn't he get at least a neg 2 (more likely 3)?

Granted, I am a bit bitter and cynical because this one blew up my pick 5, but I encourage a peak in the Red Board Room tomorrow at Force Freeze's sheet. This one ran 3W the entire way and annihilated a field of fast horses (several with neg #s), including Cigar Mile winner Jersey Town by 4 widening lengths, stopping the clock in 1:07.4.
While this one has some decent back numbers to run

In the UN, I will toss the two favorites Chincon/Bourbon Bay and go to go back to the exacta from the Monmouth Stakes 3 weeks ago Teaks North/Sleepless Knight. Hall/Breen barn is on fire w/ 61% tops and pairs the last 90 days and Teaks North always runs well at Monmouth and should get a good set up here. Expect both to pair tops. Will use Bold Hawk (who finally gets firm ground) and the French m

Tough beat. Apart looked like he would get up until he got closed off in deep stretch.
Wouldn't have picked the winner if he had entered the gate in a walkover.

My guess is there have been enough bombs in Triple Crown races lately that no illogical horse is going off as long as it should.

Hall/Breen barn is on fire. Won two today at relatively short prices at Monmouth, then a first time graded stakes runner (Sleepless Knight) ran past Get Stormy in deep stretch to Place in a Grade 3 at long odds. I couldn't have used that one on #s but keyed him because of the barn.

Sorry about that, but this guy makes more condescending posts at fellow posters than anyone on the board. Victory laps after every bet he hits, and a disappearing act when he is wrong. Not my style.
His comment that no one should give MMM a shot because he "looks ghastly" the last two weeks needed to be corrected, especially when his work last sunday was the buzz around the backside

He didn't look "ghastly" on Sunday when he had the best work of any of the above leading into the Belmont.
Hope you improve on your Derby and Preak
