Good article.
Hopefully, we can add Keen Ice ($45.00) to the above list after Saturday.

Unbelievably good today.
Cold tri in 3rd; Beat a 1/5 in the 4th with a 10-1; and a key of a 26-1 in the 5th which helped me to a large tri!
Really damn good stuff! Thanks TGAB

Ran a credible Derby. Saved ground, bumped in stretch. Hasn't moved backwards yet, working well, slower than others but with another forward move seems like the type of horse that may be able to click off enough 12 second furlongs to be a major player in exotics. Will be closer to pace and should last. If AP doesn't fire, worse horses have won the Belmont.

Summer Bird won Belmont as a fifth choice 12-1.
Wiseguy horse was definitely Charitable Man, who was second on ML at 3-1, but went off as co-second choice w Dunkirk

Verticals were good. AP was not most likely to bomb. Firing Line was. Covello was right. Storms came in as scheduled, not later.

Don't know if it should be moved, but probably won't be parking my car for $15 in someones front yard. Other than top 3, anyone coming back from Derby?
Will Pletcher send Competitive Edge? Hope so, honest pace will soften AP for Belmont.

Is that the rumour on the Zenyatta/CC fanboy page?

Agreed. I would not call that re-rallying. He actually lost ground in stretch on IMLD who was staggering home like a drunken sailor.

Richie. If you get down to the Snore by the Shore this summer, you should stop by Nunzio's in Long Branch, around 5 minutes from MP. Old school, outer boroughs type family owned pizzeria---no slices. As good as any and I have been to all of the Staten Island, E harlem and Brooklyn places. A lot of track folks (Derrick Ryan, etc) spend time there. Say hello to Lou and Snookie.

Several folks on this board who publicly have used the TG numbers for big scores on the Derby more recently than 2002. Super Saver and Big Brown years come to mind. Keyed BB over the 6 horses that had run "0" in tris and supers and got very overlaid odds on EB, DOC and TOE. Still can't believe TOE coming off his top in winning the Wood was 43-1 while his stablemate Big Truck whos

My concern about IMLD is that over the last decade it is rare to find a horse that X'd in the KD that came back two weeks later and ran well at Pimlico. Jackson Bend comes to mind as he paired his top at Pimlico, and he X'd after chasing a hot pace at CD. Also Sun King ran a big number early in the year at GP "0", ran up the track in the Derby and then started cycling back

Normandy Invasion was the only horse in the first group of horses (horses that chased the pace) that finished in the top half of the field.

Orb ran a tremendous race, but it looked to me like he bore out in the stretch. That was one tired horse, and for good reason. No cinch in two weeks.

That may be the most absurd thing I have ever heard of. Putting an injured horse that hasn't worked since the Preakness and is fully cranked on the track in front of a grandstand of 75,000+ people. Crazy.
