This is very interesting data, causing one to fade the favorite and Hot Rod Charlie and perhaps causing one to key Brooklyn Strong and/or Midnight Bourbon underneath in the exotics. I like both of those jockeys, too.

I can imagine how tough it is; Known Agenda is also one who intrigues me; love the Curlin offspring and TAP might be making the proper adjustments. Can't see this one going off at huge odds maybe something like Always Dreaming in the 5=1 range.

With all these defections, I am currently at a total loss with respect to this Derby. Maybe this is the year, finally, to take a shot against the favorite? Or maybe not. There is probably a larger gap than normal between the best figure of the 20 and the worst. Hot Rod Charlie is my current pick, pending my look at TG.

Oh no-"as I recall I hit two IRS signers and some nice win bets at good odds" - I hope that's not redboarding!

I went to Arlington Park in 1995 or so, and I was shocked at how beautiful the facility was. Sure, out here the mountains at Santa Anita and the beach at Del Mar are nice, but as far as facilities go, Arlington Park was a lot nicer. I went with my late Uncle John, a long time Illinois horse player from the 60's and 70's, and as I recall I hit two IRS signers and some nice win bets at g

Thanks to TG, I hit the early pick 5 with the carryover yesterday, using the horses mentioned in the Analysis plus a substitute I added when the top pick in the 3rd scratched. Great job on that analysis!

Being from Wisconsin, this post is precious. It reminds me of a story about the definition of tact. In a bar, the subject of Green Bay Wisconsin comes up. A patron says "Green Bay? There's nothing there but football players and ugly whores!". Another patron says "HEY! My wife is from Green Bay". The response was "What position does she play?"

I read this in a hard copy magazine probably a year ago, but see that now it is making the rounds again online.

Good work P-Dub, you moved the chains. I'll be rooting for the 5 in the last for you. If you have time for wine tasting/touring while you're up there, I recommend Darioush, Pride Mountain, and Larkmead. And if you can swing over to Sonoma County on the way home, Stonestreet has a great bronze statue of Rachel Alexandra outside their tasting room and the wines are darn good.

It sure looked like the AQU stretch was a no passing zone today.

I'm looking forward to the Redboard room tomorrow to see how Mo Forza looked on the TG sheets today at DMR. He beat a classy field in the Hollywood Derby at Del Mar that included two Chads. He won at big odds on BC day with Rosario up, I actually wanted to bet him that day but got shut out at post time. I feel he has progressed "magically" in his past few races. That was a very acc

P-Dub I hope that was the result you were looking for. I cashed a nice WPS bet on that Juv winner, thanks to the Analysis.

Cool story. Every now and then, I learn something on this Forum. Useless trivial information but great cocktail party small talk.

Your suggested 6 horse dime super box in the ninth cost $36, not $12.

This is not surprising to me as a former resident of Houston Texas. Runhappy is owned by James "Mattress Mac" McIngvale who was/is a master promoter of his Houston furniture business and grew it from scratch to a multi-million dollar operation in just a few years. I still have a kitchen table & chairs I bought from him in the early 1990's. Funny thing was that his promotion wa

Screw Del Mar now. I've been a regular since 1999. The hell with them. I'm over this track. I'd rather bet Mountaineer or Hong Kong line or go to a sports book and bet baseball or football. I know that money is just something you need in case you don't die tomorrow, but I'm over this crap.

I'm not going to off myself but I will instead cancel my August trip to DMR from the OC. The hell with this. Is there anyone out there that disagrees that the 9 was a clear winner? Pounds the best. F&%$ this.
