I'm alive with the 1 and the 9. Looking forward to a great day of racing tomorrow and hoping for less chalk than today.

Oh well. Money is just something you need in case you don't die tomorrow.

I know he's a little shy on TG number power, but I am rooting for So Alive in the Blue Grass tomorrow at 15-1 ML. His maiden win at Keeneland was so impressive I put $100 on him at 100-1 in Las Vegas in the Derby future book at William Hill. Vekoma's number power is strong, but I can't get past that egg beater action. So Alive is half to Vino Rosso, by the Derby winner Super Saver.

Redboard room comment: Distracted by Dubai and Gulfstream on Saturday, and only buying the Dubai TG special, what did I miss at Santa Anita? Only that the TG Santa Anita analysis had ON TOP the $44.80 winner of the 4th, the $21.20 winner of the 5th (that double only paid you $279.20 for two bucks, and that early Pick 5 paid over $13.6k!) and recommended using the $24.20 winner in the 9th in mul

Speaking of Mr. Stein, does anyone know how Roger is doing? I listened to him for many years right up until his retirement. I know his health seemed to be declining.

12-1 Morning line on the Motion/Landeros entry in today's 9th at GP. I'm not expecting anywhere near those odds.

Thanks for this post, Silver. I hope you had that Graham Motion filly in the 8th at GP.

Thanks again TG for this annual gift. I closed out the year using your recommendation of John's Intuition in the finale at Santa Anita with a nice WPS bet, he got beat by a dirty nose but paid handsomely anyway at 31-1. I'm not sure how TG numbers help with a first time starter, but who cares? Happy New Year to all.

Nero is my bet in the Malibu. I actually had a Ky Derby Future bet on him in Vegas at 100-1 based on a good performance in the San Vincente, but he got pushed aside for Justify, just like McKenzie did. I might get 10-1 tomorrow.

It's the traditional day after Christmas opening day tomorrow. Thanks for the free data, I'm going to be there in person to get that awesome calendar.
In the 7th race I am partial to the #8 Fight On. He just might have a forward move in him. I'll protect with the heavy favorite River Boyne and will include Combatant who has sure earned a lot of money with only a maiden win. Me

My favorite track announcer of all time was Gordon Wood, the voice of Gulf Greyhound Park in Texas. He moonlighted as a ring announcer on Thursday night fights on USA Network. Gordon also died in his 40's, he succumbed to a brain tumor in 1994.

It was very frustrating I had strong opinion on the 7 horse and played him heavily to place since there were two obvious horses and he was sinch to finish at leest second. He gets DQ'd and placed third. I was robbed.

I had exactly the same question. How does this happen at age six? That's like me running a 3:30 marathon at age 55 with a prior top of 3:54.

She ran a fast number two back in the slop. Second race off the layoff for Wesley Ward. Why not at 60-1?

On my favorite weather website, I don't see any more rain from now through the Classic on Saturday. I think conditions will be fine, assuming good drainage, and I have to believe CD has good drainage.

I went to Arlington Park once in my life, about 20 years ago. I took my uncle John who was a big horse player in the 60's. We had a great day and I came home with a big wad of $100's as I stumbled on a nice trifecta after a slow start. As a So Cal guy, I was struck by the beauty of the facility. It was way nicer than any So. Cal track, even Del Mar. But with the state of Illinois curre

The turf course looked odd to me; like a green that had been recently aerated and sanded (for the golfers among us).

The 9th at Belmont is a cracking good race tomorrow, the Pennine Ridge Stakes (G3). You have the 4/5 favorite Analyze It for Chad Brown facing some tough customers including well-bred for grass entries from Mott, Clement, Motion, Toner, Dickinson and Pletcher along with the well regarded Catholic Boy. I haven't seen the sheets yet but am intrigued. It could also end up good or soft, so going

I'm with you on this; hoping Justify doesn't break and misses the board, keying the 5 and 6 in the tri and a nice Exacta box.

To be honest, I heard the same thing from a retired co-worker who is the dad of a kid who played with a kid who played with Trout on the Angels when he was 20=21. His ultimate goal is to be a Philly.

We went early last Saturday to see Judge & Stanton in BP. Camped out in the LF bleachers at 4pm with my glove from HS baseball circa 1981. Stanton skipped BP and Judge hit all his bombs (and they were huge) to the batter's eye in center and right of that. Judge crushed the ball in his first three at bats and it was 10-0 Yanks after 2 innings. All Rise, but I'd rather have Trout...

P-Dub your 2nd to last paragraph is spot-on. I don't blindly use the analysis, ever, I buy the TG data and form my own opinions. Some of my best scores have come by my own interpretation of the data and my knowledge of pedigrees and factoring in jockeys and trainers, etc. I had Instilled Regard in the 3 and 4 hole for the super yesterday but left Justify off the top due to a prejudice agains

Thanks TG, I was all over Good Magic that was the right play in the race at 9 or 10 to 1. I thought he'd get by that Scat Daddy but alas no. I had Instilled Regard in my super but didn't have Justify on top, only GM and Mendy and Vino Rosso. Was smart enuf to put a WPS play on GM as a saver. I also hit the "All others" in Pool 2 so I'm alive to play another day.

I love the Curlin's in this race, including SOlomini at a huge price to hit the exacta. Too bad twinspires.com is down again otherwise I'd back that up a little more at the "window".
