Race 9 - 6 years ago
The 11 horse Untamed Domain caught my eye when looking at the replay of the BC Juv Turf won by Mendelssohn. He's a single in the pick 4 for me. Fair price at 6-1.

Good work. I recall you're an A's fan, I'm an Angels season ticket holder. So much fun this year with Ohtani. He can do it all.

I hear you P Dub. Bad beats always hurt. I like the 9 in the finale at CD, to get my money back. Who do you like?

When I select "Recall Today's Bets", it returns "No Wagers to Display". Anyone else having this issue?

I like the Curlin offspring in the Derby this year. He is one of my favorite horses ever. I also loved Hard Spun, so the one that has each on both sides of his pedigree is my favorite. Need to see the post position draw...
Are there any with Afleet Alex in the bloodlines? That's another one of my favs.

Perhaps you bet him late in that Commonwealth score? I just watched the YouTube and he was 42-1 going up the backstretch. It's as if a big win bet came in just before post time.

That might be a big number but drifting out like that in the stretch has to be a bad sign. I'll be inclined to dismiss this one.

I'm hoping Baffert substitutes Nero for McKinzie in the SA Derby. I have a future book bet on Nero, who needs some points but ran a creditable 2nd in the San Vicente with that blistering pace. He stayed on well.

I don't have TG sheets knowledge of this one but Runaway Ghost looks like a serious racehorse that I won't discard on the first Saturday in May at this point. Perhaps the other Todd? That was a super easy win. I can't wait to see how that number compares to Noble Indy. TG loved his daddy, too.I wonder who rides him in May?

I have Tiz Mischief at 71-1 in Pool 2. He handled the FOY winner pretty easily at Churchill in the Kentucky Jockey Club last fall. I think I have value.

Thanks TG. I'll be there tomorrow to get that famous calendar giveaway, been doing it for 10 or 12 years.
I'm liking the 5 horse Orbit Rain in the first race tomorrow. First time turf for an Orb offspring with a good turf jockey. Dirt number very competitive.

Carina Mia was my bet of the BC. When the entries came out and I saw she drew the rail, I was not happy. But I bet her anyway she was 20-1. She was the best in that race yesterday, in my opinion, losing by a length on that "dead rail" Gambling is unforgiving.

No Baffert winners yet but some have run well. Interesting. What to do now...I'm inclined to bet Mubtaahij he can run all day and I can see a rally wide victory.

I guess we'll have to consider that 9/18 race at Presque Isle Downs a key race!

R6: #4 Madeline 20/1: Good euro jock not known here, and this horse first time at a mile I'm counting on her being able to handle it.
R7; #4 Gato Del Oro 30/1, sneaky good So Cal trainer with a really good jockey climbing on with a good post to save ground.
R8: #10 Flameaway 20/1 Only turf tries both washed off, so this is his first on the green but won at first asking on the poly

I am taking the train down to Del Mar from the OC this coming Saturday, August 12th. Last weekend was the US Open of Surfing here; I wish there had been wagering available on that I'd have done better than I've done so far at DMR. Funny thing, the surfers in the finals were so small they could have been jockeys. It made me think I need to invent "sheets" for surfers... Hopeful

I smell a rat, too. I had the 4 to place and show since I saw the bridge jumping, so I'm happy. but the vertical and horizontal exotics seem very light.

Yes I've had the same problem I used to connect via AM 1150's website, and it hasn't been streaming live the last few times I've tried.

Bad beat in reverse. I bet a lumbering son of AP Indy at Hollywood Park 8 or 10 years ago, he was a horse with no early speed and a bit of a late kick, but was 0 for 6 lifetime or so. He turns for home, sixth of eight and closing, but way too far behind the leaders to make an impact. So the leader and his chaser are 10 lengths clear approaching the wire, and the leader breaks down and the chaser

I don't normally play this way, but I think Classic Empire wins this race and I think Term Of Art clunks up for 2nd or 3rd, even with his slow figures. I cashed a bet on Term Of Art at Del Mar, so I have a soft spot in my heart for him.

I like Royal MO better than Gormley. He ran from the far outside in both the Rebel and the SA Derby. I'm hoping he draws into the field. Nothing wrong with his sheet pattern although a bit slow on numbers. CA numbers always seem to be a little light on TG. I like this horse at big odds, if he gets in.
