I mean, in the "gallop out" (which admittedly I usually don't give much credence to) Bravazo went by him like he was standing still and Tenfold passed him as well? But MS didn't go to the whip late, and he did hit the wire exactly when he needed to, there's no denying that.
BB had plenty of glowing words this morning as well. He compared Justify's Preakness to

He Seemed like a tired horse the last furlong, it took a lot for him to put away Good Magic after setting pedestrian fractions. 1st-5th were separated by less than 3 lengths on the wire, and the 5th place finisher (Lone Sailor) made up double digit lengths in a hurry. The place and show horses were both moving much better late and it wasn't like they were coming from the clouds.

All right I gotta say it, Two days before the race you started a thread about Noble Indy's early pace in the Rebel, a race he wasn't even in? Now you're touting a five digit score and bragging about finding the longest price on the board?
BTW Your posts seemed to indicate you were on Magnum Moon? What made you change your mind?

You mean the god father to the best #24 in (Pittsburg) history and the best #25 In (SF) and (likely all of baseball) history?
Say Hey! Seattle had an ok #24 to if we're making lists...
One for the bar stool- Willie Mays amazingly made 24 all star teams, matching his jersey number, #24....there's a trivia question in there but I couldn't figure out how to phrase it..

Yeah, really the only horses to run well were the same one's that took all the money (Save Instilled Regard obviously). In what appeared to be a super strong field, that was shocking to me honestly? The public basically hit the race like a (2018) Matt Harvey slider. Getting that result after looking at the "will pays" for the better part of an hour was straight up offensive.

I had the Tri, which wasn't much more than a "saver" bet. I was heavier to Audible on top. I could of used Justify to not run everybody else on the front end (other than GM) completely into the ground. I was expecting more out of the pressing types with the weather and the track being what it was.
Justify was certainly impressive though, gotta give him his due. At the same time

Noble Indy ran at Fairgrounds? Acted up before Risen star then "came back" and won the LA Derby (one of the few tickets I actually cashed this prep season)

This is just my opinion, but I'd think the ideal spot would be 6,8-11/12 where he could slip in behind Justified (everyone in that area projects to be mid pack at best).
As to the outside horses breaking, I think Noble Indy will certainly send and MM & Solomini will want to be close/stalk the pace most likely, so I do see them coming out quick and trying to get over. We saw what happ

Just curious, why you think it's the perfect post for Mendelssohn? I know Lucas talked about wanting the 14, and I get that there's space to either side which no doubt helps for the first few strides, but when coupled with who's inside him and the fact that MM, Solomini, and Noble Indy will all be coming down from the outside, it seems to me that there's a high potential for

I'd watch tomorrow when he's slated to gallop. He's been training great to date, just got off the plane last night, see how he looks and what's said following it by the clockers.

I think it's interesting that PFF and Flame Away are next to each other down on the inside. They both have to be on the dead send and then with Audible also inside enough that he'll likely have to use more early speed then he may have otherwise shown initially.
You also have Mendelsohn and Bravazo right next to each other toward the outside of the main gate. I think Mendelsohn co

I'm in total agreement with the ROW. I loved SP effort last out. In today's age the gifted ones constantly out run pedigree. At the risk of looking as bad as I did last year when I wrote three paragraphs against Cloud Computing before the Preakness, I'm super confident today.
I've liked this one since day one, I think he'll out run his pedigree, drawing the rail s

TAP 1/18 when adding blinkers in this kind of spot with somewhere around a $.55 ROI in last 19. I agree with the thought that TAP doesn't do a lot to "turn them around."
I'll use him, but will be playing tickets without him as well. I like the value Lone Sailor "should" offer this evening and will funnel the majority of my money that way.

You're right, there was some serious yanking on the reins with a horse that seemed full of run? Interesting stuff. Especially in light of the scratch this weekend.
I didn't think he'd get the lead breaking outside of Machismo and Strike Power, not on that track. I mean from my eye, that was an extremely impressive performance.
So I guess the question now is, was "B

Romans is usually much better second time off the bench to. It never occurred to me that he scratched "Billy' because he had a monster and on the outside no less?
Not sure if the number's are out yet, but he likely moved up what 7 full points or more?
I'll be interested in watching Strike Power next out though. Not a bad effort first time stretching out, and I thin

Looked like Saez was where you wanted to be on the rail and decided to go get in trouble for no good reason what so ever? Really didn't understand that at all after watching the Razor Back just ~30 minutes prior?
I liked "Sporty" at the Spa this summer, all things considered a decent comeback effort off the shelf and off a minorish injury. One to watch going forward.

Brown's 45% Turf to dirt w/ a stout ROI over the past few years with a limited sample (5/11). So he doesn't do it often but when he does it seems they're extremely well spotted. This one was cross entered Dirt/turf for last years BC, so this isn't a new idea.
She's proven to be able to carry her speed at today's distance (over turf though) where the other speed

What about the one entered that's already beat Arrogate twice? Likely will be a better price of the two on the front end.

He absolutely ran his eyeballs out no doubt, and also came up short again. He never broke stride though? Mccraken was well clear, PJ had the jump on Girvin who was wide and got beat.
It seemed like Rosario didn't want any part of going wide on the turn and waited to make his move, but I didn't see him get stopped or anything, Girvin still had to Catch him and he did. I agree he

Today has to be at least the fourth time I've came away from a big 3 year old race absolutely disgusted w Practical Joke's stretch run (or lack there of). He's in position to take care of business and he just doesn't finish.
Nice call on Girvin, I was in the camp of whoever was better today between Timeline and BOM would hit the tape first. Definitely an exciting race,

I didn't see the pool totals or will pays before the race. What you're saying is on the last tick EVERY horse not named Arrogate got halved? I'm with you, that seems highly irregular at best. Was this just in the DD w/ the San Diego being the first leg or was it more widespread?
My question would be how much money would need to wagered on each entrant to get that kind of resu

Fantastic!! The price on Somerset Sandy was absurd, then after two in a row you still got 11-1 on the second fastest TG horse (not to mention a 26% trainer strike rate in that spot w/ $6.28 ROI w/ Santana up)...Gotta love Saratoga in the summer...

I know not a single mention of the effort the 4 gave? That was a tough lose for a horse that left it all out. Super game in the stretch. I played a ticket piggy backing off of you guys myself, certainly a tough one. And Harmonize? Not at all what I was expecting.
