When you select 9 individual races, the price is adjusted to $25 instead of $5 per race.by milwmike - Ask the Experts
Re: How to Bet - 3 years ago
Different TG users can analyze a race and come up with totally different selections. Two examples from yesterday. Vic on the TPGS seminar loved the turf sprint winner, Steve Byk on his website didn’t have the horse in his top 4. In the BE/Preakness double, Byk had 3 A selections and 2 B’s, none of them the winner. I’m not picking on Steve as I am a fan of his. Just trying to show thaby milwmike - Ask the Experts

Re: Why you should BUY sheets every time you play:PARET - 4 years ago
I looked at the sheets this morning based on your post (not a player yesterday). Here is the counter argument to playing the winner. The winner exited a $100k race (not $1.2M) where he finished second in a 7 horse field at 22-1. Besides the winner, any horse in that race would have been a very long price in yesterday's race. The winner had not won a race since 2018. The trainer stats shby milwmike - Ask the Experts
Re: seminar - 5 years ago
Your question is why the BC presents so many opportunities. On one hand, you say based on his previous figs, you understand why he was not mentioned in the seminar. On the other hand, one of the horses JB likes in the race your horse defeated in his last start, earning a better figure. Does the horse you mention jump up and show he is again the faster horse. And is that good enough in a fieldby milwmike - Ask the Experts

Re: Chess Chief - 5 years ago
He is the second slowest horse in the race on TG. In my opinion, a 3 point new top only gets him in the discussion for filling out the tri. There are several fastest horses with nice patterns. I don't want to talk you off a bomb, but in my opinion, you need both the new top and several others to X to be in the tri.by milwmike - Ask the Experts
Re: Belmont Derby - English Bee - 5 years ago
Cape of Good Hope - from what I've read and heard, he hated the softer turf at Ascot. Spinoff - TAP has said that he did not train well over the slop at CD and ran like it in the Derby - going off at 50-1 is an indication that is probably correct.by milwmike - Ask the Experts

Re: Anyone discouraged? - 6 years ago
As Frank said, you need a bit more help at this meet. Maggie has given out a couple of nice prices (last on Sunday for one). Winning a couple of photos helps as well - Ultra Brat wining the Diana as one example. JB said at the seminar on Sunday that one length spread over a few races on Saturday would have made a big difference in his day. Keep the faith.by milwmike - Ask the Experts
Re: Stellar Wind - 7 years ago
Don't be quick to discount that the -4 (a monster number for a filly) and the bad start next out are not related. I've heard TGAB many times (radio show and SPA seminars) point out this very situation.by milwmike - Ask the Experts
Re: Keen Ice - 7 years ago
KI is slow. His top is 0. Unless you expect every horse that has run negative (many that have run multiple negative figures) to all not run a good race (or be burned up in a suicide pace), I don't see it.by milwmike - Ask the Experts

Re: Belmont 9 - 7 years ago
You can see the sheet in ROTW section - Derby day info is available. To my eye, I would not have predicted a return to his 2 yo figs. And with the slow pace and saving ground, my guess is he still didn't get to last year.by milwmike - Ask the Experts

Re: Rolling Pick 4's - 8 years ago
Hi Frank. Race 6 - I think there is plenty of gas in this race that LB won't be on an easy lead. Some concern as well that last was a straight course. I'm looking for this to fall apart and love the 11. Concerned that the 6 bounces, but last was awesome, big field and 3w3w and with the pace that I envision is dangerous. Race 8 - Looks like little pace in this race and agree witby milwmike - Ask the Experts
