11). A single governing body to rule on DQ’s so we have consistency at every race track. It would be similar to MLB instant replay.

The Arlington meet ends tomorrow which signals the end of summer for Chicago Horse players. Arlington Park is by far the most beautiful racing facility in North America but sadly it has a lot going against it. No help from slots or sports betting and the legislators are doing nothing to help the industry. It’s also very difficult to find good spots to wager on when Rivelli wins 31percent of h

Did anyone see the stretch run? Sadie Lady came in forced Forever Changed to check or get run into the rail and caused Forever Changed to lose all momentum. There was an objection/inquiry....and surprise! No DQ. I had a play on the race so I am biased, was curious at to what anyone else thought.

I’ve complained many times about the lack of consistency between NY and everyplace else. In Kentucky and Illinois I believe the stewards look for reasons to DQ whereas in NY it has to be flagrant and dangerous before they’ll DQ. Just my humble opinion FWIW.

It’s hard to get a handle on what’s going on there but one observation that I have is that you don’t want to be on the front. Inside looks iffy too but it may because the speed is backing up and there’s no place to run.

Royally bred Rotation who is trained by Asmussen is 14-1 in his 2yo debut and Rivelli’s horse Bizzee Channel is 9-5 with 30 mins to post. Interesting.

The pick 6 at the SPA was alive to only one horse who happened to be the top selection of the TG analysis. Congrats to whoever had it and nice job by the TG team for that selection!

I most likely saved money on the scratch as Chad ran 1/2. So I live 15 mins away from Arlington Park. My lawn and ground around it is like concrete because we haven’t had much rain. I contend that they intentionally over soaked that turf course which would also explain why the races were moved off of it on both Thursday and Friday. My question is why would they do this?

We have perfect weather and a firm turf course for a great day of racing in the Chicago suburbs. Track management moved the scheduled turf races off of the turf on Thursday and Friday. It did rain earlier in the week but it’s been extremely dry here. I’m taking at shot at beating the Chad’s and going with Spring Quality who looks to be pointing to a good effort. Good luck to everyone!

You're spot on as always Frank D. It's hard enough to pick the occasional winner but these guys are like land mines on top of it.

It’s Arlington Million week and Rivelli has them running holes in the wind. Jean Elizabeth was well backed at 3/5 and won easily in 1:15:4 for 6.5 on the poly which is pretty quick. Amazing how they peak at the right time.

I had been waiting for this horse because of road trouble on the turf in his previous start. To make a long story short a lost out on my saver play because the horse was dq’d from 3rd. The DQ was legit. ET Baird moved the horse very wide and early because of pathetically slow fractions. He took command in the stretch by 3 lengths but was fighting the horse to run straight, the horses head w

I am amazed that Brimstone wasn’t DQ’d today. In Chicago or in the state of Kentucky that would have been an instant DQ. I’ve seen horses DQ’d in Chicago just for going out of their path. I’m all for letting them race but some consistency would be nice.

Not sure how many Chicagoan players are still out here but if any of you have seen the last 3 races by this horse you'd be very impressed. On Sunday two horses went after Richiesinthehouse and Another Richie sat behind the battle making a well timed move only to see Richiesinthehouse draw off and win by around 10 lengths. All of this after coming back on short rest. Rivelli is having a Ja

Thank you for sharing this opinion. This has crossed my mind many times. I was always amazed on how horses which were bred a notch below others could run like some of these. Not only that but also how it was reflected at the window.

If they allow CRW direct access to the system as the article states they could easily lock them out 1 minute prior to the start of the race. They could simply close the port from which wagers are transmitted. They won't do it because they are greedy and want to milk every penny they can get regardless of the perception.

Have any TwinSpires users ever made a deposit to make some plays only to find that you have to wait 4 days to get your deposit back even though the money is taken from your account in about 8 hours? Sounds like they are preying on folks who lack self control. Thoughts? I will say that they are great about paying out winnings, the problem is with your initial deposit.

I know that CB thrives on the turf but Good Magic really looks like the horse for the course at CD. GM has enough speed to avoid traffic jams, is lightly raced, and looks to be pointing to a solid effort. Good luck everyone!

With all of the talk about Baffert on the board lately I see him standing in the winners circle with Solomini. Yep, I know that MM,Quip, and Combatant have nice patterns but he's Baffert so it doesn't matter. The closer to even money his horses are the faster they run.
On a serious note it looks like CB's turf runners are heating up.
Good luck everyone!

What makes me crazy about this stuff is that they're hurting themselves in the long run. Illinois is the prototype example of where this will go. Harness racing is almost completely gone and Arlimgton Park which is by far the nicest race track in the US runs a summer meet that makes Finger Lakes look like Saratoga.

Some odd payouts. $26 winner with 2nd choice only $37 on a $1? Also $510 super with 12-1 9/5 18-1 3/5. This also takes into account a live first starter off the board.

Check out the pattern on this horse who ran 2nd at 70-1 in GP1. Drifted out, staggering, and still held 2nd. Even getting an easy lead I would have expected this horse to back through the field. Amazing to say the least.
