Well, I don't mean to belabor the point, but there have been riches beyond dreams to be had all week at Ozone Park! (OK.. that's an exageration..) BUT.. the last 3 days have been an orgy of overlays, and the TG nums, patterns and profiles unlock all doors!
FRIDAY:
7th: CLM, 3+, 1m (Superfecta, P3)
1. #2 Cadillac Cruiser 5-1 (2ND)
2. #6 Fire Hero 3-1 (3RD)
A. #7 Neon Magic 1

Gee.. That's too bad because the 14-1 opener winner from 1-for-2006 Terracino jumped off the pages in the Big A 1st.. Wasn't hard to utilize the rest of the exotics either for the $476 tri..
I love Aqueduct and have no problem with it when we go to the Inner Tube either.. That inside bias wive's tale is older than the hills too. You really think that Churchill's fall meet

Feel compelled given the ongoing discourse here, to alert TGers to an amazing conversation on "At the Races and Beyond" (Sirius 125, M-F, 4-7pm EST) Wednesday between California's anti-medication crusader Dr. Rick Arthur and Jerry.
Arthur joined us to discuss his call for holding veterinarians as accountable for violations as trainers, and JB phoned in.. What followed was a rem

The first weekend of the meet is upon us, and I hope I'll be seeing many of you at Carolina Barbecue as Jerry, Alan, Bill and Julian conduct the seminars at my joint across from the Carousel...
I've conducted my own "study" and the conclusions are clear: TG Seminar Attendees eat better, have more fun and cash bigger tickets at Saratoga than any other speed figure devotees!

Graph Racing and Peter Miller send their new 'Pinata' into deep waters in Saturday's Landaluce at HOL... The Vision and Verse rednut has been working beautifully, but didn't draw too well, 10th of 10.. She was an easy 3-wide winner in her Charm City maiden diploma grab, and gets hustling Pedroza, who Miller uses cleverly, for this $100k listed standard at the 'Wood...

NCT,
Giving it out to 10,000 listeners on "ATRAB" was even BETTER than hitting it!!
Hope to get to CNL next weekend too.. Will be my only chance.
Re: CNL CUP, Talked to Sciacca this a.m. and am eager for the figs on his Prime Diamond. Plucked for 16 dimes and suddenly a turf tiger last pair, this Gumpster Stable state bred may be right on time Saturday: at least as exotic fodder.

Hope some caught 39-1 Rain Shower courtesy of the trainer pattern percentages yesterday..
Vicki Oliver came into the Swamp grass card Monday running 73.2% Tops from her "3yos 2nd time out" with 41 starters. Going D2T in her 2nd start (Oliver 19%W, 42% ITM), Rain Shower (15-1 ML) was allowed to leave at 39-1 and was certain to improve off her debut 26.2 against a mixed bag of fillies.

Liked everything up until the Steppenwolfer/Jazil segment..
"These types" will be 12-15 lengths closer to the leaders here than in their races at shorter distances.. 6f in 1:13 is slightly different than 6f in 1:10.
Peitz and Kieran have a handle on where they are with this pair and both will be striding out when the rest are shortening to baby steps. The biggest knock I have on &

I've been carefully watching the Grand Slam bet at BEL... Two days in a row I got scratched out of my play, but Friday's was REALLY lucrative and an absolute drop-kick to hit...
R5: I lost Snitch to the scratch board, but Red Handed Robin (W) or Evening Edition (SH) were just as viable as the use...
R6: Distinctive Julia finished third...
R7: Used Oracle of Omaha as the single

The Times' coverage has been great with pieces on New Bolton's state of the art procedures/facility, the Jane Schwartz (Ruffian: Burning From the Start author) op-ed letter, etc..
While the paper doesn't run agate anymore, The Times' heritage covering racing is second to none, (ever hear of Red Smith?), and your comment displays total lack of comprehension of the editorial

Jimbo,
The "not jogging well" thing came first from Mike Welsh in his DRF Clockers Report and then from Tom Amoss on TVG... Ernesto Ferdinand, SNS's gallop man since Day 1 and a 30 year veteran, laughed when I asked him about it before going on the air last Thursday. "The horse is smarter than the SOB's watching him." was his exact response...
He said the first

Mike DID get the information and covered it with Kent. KD said if he did need to go inside he wouldn't stay there. Though the rail may not have been clinically dead, it was still the worst part of the track and he said if things had gone differently early, he'd have been on a better path. The early trouble is what cost SNS the opportunity to hit the board..

Just back to hotel from the shed.. There was no harm done. Kent overslept and tried to reach Trombetta repeatedly.. Mike showed me his cellphone with "Kent, Kent, Kent, Kent" on it, but the phone never actually rang... (I've been having the same trouble with mine.)
It worked out fine. Borel was perfect and Willie Martinez helped with Fleet Ballad, SNS's workmate who goes in

The gout must be affecting your memory... Wand/Dayjur/Unbridled was '90!! That was a day that is best forgotten.. It also included the heart attack/collapse of Mark Reid's Mr. Nickerson who had become a real favorite of mine.
I think I've posted the link to this before, but here's my somewhat maudlin recollection of BC '90, an ode to Nick and Wand...

From today's AQU Analysis...
5th: Theresa's Decision is bred to be better on turf. Jump up expected. Win #5 at 15-1 or more. Box with #1 Four Nine Whiskey, #10 Mohegan Sky.
Was it OK to bet Theresa's Decision at 26-1? She was your $54 winner and the trifecta brought back $763...
Thank you Easter Bunny... (Or Elijah as the case may be today!)

That's close, but slightly off... It wasn't Harry M. they were going to honor... It was William Cottrill, the Mobile native and antebellum racing benefactor who had helped finance the rebuilding of the industry after the Civil War..
Harry M. Stevens was British, and started his famed concession biz in Ohio where he had settled after emigrating to the US. He came to NY when he won the

Had her as a prime play and got the tab I was looking for only to have trouble on the first turn checking sharply. Cruz gave her time to settle... Started to smoothly move through the field on the backstretch... Then Ocean Beauty floats her 5-6 wide on the second turn as she was commencing her rally

Rice has 2 more positives he's being hit with, and it looks like he will be sitting 6 months and must remove his stock from the grounds. You can hear the details with the state vet tonight at 4:30pm on 'At the Race and Beyond' on Sirius 125 or via the "attheracesandbeyond.com" website..

Very solid. Couldn't get to a ground-saving and resolute Sir Greeley, but they went in :45.3, 1:08.4 and finished the 1m in 1:34.2.
He looked terrific in the paddock, trim and dappled throughout his hind. Think he demonstrated that he hasn't 'soured' on racing, and I know that Tagg was thrilled with the effort...
