I may have spoken too soon about that "Zen" @#$%&, hellersorr.
ZEN used to be a stallion at Duchossois's Hill 'N Dale Farm.
Hmmmmm?

Dick Duchossois has passed at age 100.
Thanks for the memories, Mr. D.

We've got Frank in one corner, and the Evil Empire (CDI) in the other.
All I can say is thank goodness for the NYRA. Where would we be without you?

I thought you were working remotely from you palatial estate in the Hamptons. My mistake.
OK. That's enough for today. :-)

Ok, on a more serious note ...
What are they going to do with the "Against All Odds" statue at Arlington Park?
That thing is not too large. I'm thinking it would look real nice in your front yard, Jerry. :-)

Well, too late for that.
If Frank still has some money left, and is still in the spending mood, maybe he can make a contribution to that Go Fund Me page we're going to set up.
We'll only bet on your tracks, Frank. Promise. :-)

I don't know where the heck I've been, but I never realized how big the Pegasus and Dragon statue was.
According to Wikipedia it's the third tallest statue in the United States ... at a cost of $30 million. Wow!
Frank knows how to decorate ... I guess. :-)
What's this thing look like in person?

DRF - 2 years ago
DRF working hard to start off the new year.
DRF Bets has been offering a nice sign-up package for over six months now. It got even nicer recently with the addition of Formulator as one of the perks.
Now they have announced a on-line sportsbook they're opening in Iowa. That's in addition to other sports related products they have recently introduced.
It's getting crazy with

Actually, a $3-$5 million dollar winner-take-all between KNICKS GO, LIFE IS GOOD and FLIGHTLINE would have been cool. But, nooooooooo! The connections of FLIGHTLINE are chicken. Chicken ... bok bok

Looking at the Racing Form, the top two are approximately 10BSF points faster than the rest of the field.
Mike Welsch (DRF) introducing the field: "Nine post positions were drawn Tuesday afternoon at GP for the Pegasus World Cup ... But the only two anyone cared about was KNICKS GO and LIFE IS GOOD."
I'll take a closer look at some point, but as of now, the "Big" ra

Doing some surfing on this cold and snowy Monday in Chicago. I came across an article I thought I would share with the group.
It's the beautiful story of Bud Delp's daughter Pajeen Delp. I'm a big admirer of Bud Delp, but I never knew about Pajeen.
Enjoy ...

Jerry, do you make figures for Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada? Looks like Beyer doesn't.
Interesting story about a 3yo filly who just raced at Santa Anita this past Sunday.
GRACELUND GRAY
She won her two races at Lethbridge by a combined 37 lengths as a 2yo.
Ran second in her debut in the States. Had trouble and was green down the stretch. 61 Beyer on the turf. Trainer Howard Zuck

Sad to learn about the passing of James Bert Sonnier.
I have some fond memories of working for Mr. Sonnier back in the day. He's from Louisiana, but was a regular at Arlington Park in the 80's and 90's.
He's best known for training NODOUBLE and MEADOWLAKE, but he also trained other nice horses like LITTLE BONNY, LITTLE BRIANNE and BUCKPOINT to name a few.
RIP, J. B.

Are there any words of wisdom on how to handle a horse like TIERGAN?
One number good enough to win and it was a big forward move. Any way to predict what he'll do off the big top? O-2? O-4? O-X?
Anything "around" the O-2 level could prove tough to beat. Been off the board only once for Rodriguez since he claimed him way back in January.

Did the Beyer come out yet?
11.5 lengths is worth around 24 points on the Beyer scale at 7f.
The Beyer could come back in the mid 120's if BABY YODA and STILLETO BOY ran around a 100BSF.

Thanks for the sheets, Jerry. Much appreciated.
Looks like Slim Pickens in the Malibu. Probably best to pass, but ...
The only potential value I see comes from the two horses that last raced at Mahoning Valley.
TIMELESS BOUNTY looks like he's going to bounce to the moon, but you never know. That last race is buried and has to be worth something. What's it worth? I landed on 12/

Appreciate being able to look at the analysis the day after.
I figured they didn't recommend the horse on top, or I would have heard about it. Too bad you didn't get the exacta.

Anybody have any comments on what just happened in the Queens County? That was the most incredible thing I have ever seen.
The horse is off a pair of 2's. That's as good as anyone is capable of in this race, right? He rattled of four 2's in a row this time last year. He's frickin 40/1!
Some folks must have absolutely cleaned up this race. Unfortunately, I was not one of
