I got in the car to head for the track, luggage in tow prepared to head directly from the track to the Albany airport for my 7:20 flight to LV. I got to the beverage center and turned around and went back home. It's just too damn hot. I know I'd be miserable up at the track today, and unable to think straight. So next Thursday will be my first taste of the year from the big red spring.

I can't answer your question, however this race is as tough a race to handicapp as you can get. You can make a case for practically every runner. So far I've only eliminated Newfound Zapper, the AE's and the MTO's. Past that I can't seperate the rest of the field. Any thoughts on this race will be well received by me.

Interested to hear folks thoughts about race 7 today at Sar. The Jacobson fav seems beatable and is not fastest, even when factoring in the weight advantage. The second choice on the ML is also vulnerable with that big six point new top in last. The trainer has been on fire the last 90 days, but this is not churchill.
At 12-1 Dawley is looking mighty good. Consistently runs that 2 3/4, which is

Rick, it's a deal. I'll post my openng day picks in the AM before I head up to the track. I won't be there this weekend as I have to fly to LV for work. I will be at the seminar for weekend #2 so you can pay my admission to the CH then.
The irony is, for the last three years I've gotten season passes to the clubhouse, yet spent most days by the paddock or in the grandstand. S

With 1st post of 11:30 what time will the seminar begin on Saturday?
I donated $100.00 for one of the 100 reserved picnic tables for the 2nd time since the 'tradition' started three years ago. Hoping it dosen't rain. With seating for six I may have room for a couple of TG folks at the table since my in-laws decided to schedule a family reunion on Saturday. Let me know at the sem

Almont half way thru the meet and there's still no audible sound available in many locations of the plant including the clubhouse apron. The one exception is right behind Carolina BBQ just when you don't want sound, when the seminars take place.

I'll keep it simple and consider using the two fastest horses on TG figs, Caixa and Flat Out. Both are getting a couple of pounds from Hymn Book and Ron the Greek. It could be argued Caixa is better this year than last with three neg. 2 1/2's with that last paired top coming over 3 months ago. Nice inside post with good stalking speed should result in saving ground. As I write this I wo

Brooker D ran last Thursday the 21st and won. The sheet has no fig. for the race. The horse is running back tomorrow. Can you post the last race figure?
Thanks in advance Jerry and I'll see you this weekend at the seminar.

Bob, I considered the distance question and I said the same thing you are asking about to myself. When I saw the 0 top for Macho Again was going 7 1/2F and the previous top of 3 in Feb was going 6F I wanted to know if Macho Again would be a good fit going 9F.
The 2 1/2 in the Preakness along with the sire stats showing a TGI for Macho Uno being a point better going 1 mile and over compared to 1

There were two classic 02X patterns in the race. TOE and Macho Again. In my opinion Macho Again had the positive (likely to get back to his top or run a new top) 02X pattern. TOE's 02X pattern in relation to his overall pattern of development was less likely to get back to his top having shown no development thru the 2yo camaign and at the start of the 3yo campaign. Not only was TOE's t

Any updates on the race shapes product? I purchased Fri. & Sat Churchill sheets. Would have loved to get used to using the race shapes data. Neither day has the race shapes and I can't locate any info about purchasing or downloading the product.
Thanks and best of luck to all this weekend.

The 'pokey' 1:41 mile work was 5-6 seconds faster then all other 1m works that day. I'm all smiles. Regardless of the outcome I count my future wager in pool 1 and pool 2 on Smooth Air the wisest wager I've ever made. A pair of 3's for a 2yo top. Got right back to the top 1st out at 3. Got the bounce out of the way in the Sam F. Davis, and then runs a new top that is good

I too got down on Smooth Air @ 159-1 in pool 1 and again at 192-1 in pool two. The only two future wagers I've made. I'm just loving the long works at Calder. Two 1 mile works since the Sam F. Davis where Smooth Air did everything right but win. He'll go in the Tampa Bay derby this weekend and then its on to the Illinois Derby, The owners are from Chicago.

I've been using the Capital OTB online account wagering system multiple times this past week with no issues at all. Sorry your having problems. I also have an NYRA Rewards account-NYRA has been offering online wagering since the Saratoga meet. Both systems are very similar. Haven't had problems with either. Both offer track odds regardless of your balance. Hang in there Girly. Give the

Me and my wife are driving down from Saratoga County Thursday. Staying at the Crystal Inn in Eatontown. My only pointer is to pack clothes for any kind of weather, including rain gear, especially if you have seats on the apron like we do. Someone pick a time and a location and I'll be there.

I'll add my thanks for the Saratoga seminars to Jerry,Alan,Julian, and to Steve Byk our gracious host. With the exception of Travers and the day after I attended every seminar. I spent 25 days playing the horses and made enough cash to pay for my sons college textbooks (yes Julian my son ordered his own books) and a new clothes washer & dryer. What a summer!

Good strategy not betting on Gary Sciacca runners. He spends more time at the Carolina BBQ stand then he does in the barn. He's there in the AM before the races and most of the day during the races. The only time he's not at Carolina BBQ is when he has to saddle a horse.

Any chance of getting the last numbers for both of these runners entered in wednesday's 6th race at saratoga. There's no number on the tg sheets because both just ran late last week, Lucky on the 19th and Bizzy on the 20th.
Thanks in advance!
