Buried in the midst of a string of bullet workouts Gold Panda's first race was an evenly run albeit wide, third-place finish, some 6 lengths behind the winner Waters Edge. In today's sixth @ SAR he flattered Waters Edge (previous race winner). It could have been the trainer Charlton Baker didn't have Golden Panda ready in that first race but trainer stats would seem to contradiby Tavasco - Ask the Experts
1. I don't think #2 could have had much more trouble 2. I played the #6 who fortunately was wide 3, At 1st glance, seemed the rest of the top six finishers s/b DQ'd maybe it was just the #7 doing the damage of 3 or 4 horses. 4. With regard to negative #'s. Note - Zero is not the best figure which can be earned. e.g. a -2 (negative 2) is three points faster than a 1. i.e. 0,-1,-2. Negative numbers are very positive performances, generally speaking. The domain of top Allowance animals and Stakes horses. As I understand it the NYRA 86'd race entries from trainer Bob Baffert. That was prior to the Belmont stakes. Maybe, things have changed but I think he is still uninvited to participate in horse races held in the Empire state. In a decision made by executives/administrators and supported by the NY Jockey Club, the NYRA organization simply refused service to shoe-less Bob. Using the notioby Tavasco - Ask the Experts

Some of my thoughts: I also agree that The pattern of Happy Saver is a positive one and a new top would not surprise me. Since his trainer is TAP and his 4 y/o campaign started as well as one could hope for, what's not to like? I assume TAP has some other trainees that he could have entered and chose this guy. The only oddity, for me, is the late start to his career and there are many potby Tavasco - Ask the Experts
In Today Track & Field Olympic Trials in the heat in Eugene Oregon. A contestant (Paul Chelimo?) I believe crossed the finish line 1st. He "race rode" the entire stretch forcing his adversaries further and further out. A tactic, when used on an exhausted competitor, is sufficient to avoid being passed. An objection I shout. In this case no harm no foul I guess. All three(3) ofby Tavasco - Ask the Experts
I'll start with the horse expected to provide the biggest reward, #11 Channel Fury. This one Presents opportunity and problems. The opportunity is he could improve some more although most would doubt that. The problems are: a) most of his experience has been sprinting, you won't be alone if you don't expect him to be around at the finish, B) He will be prominent through, at least tby Tavasco - Ask the Experts
I guess I should add to the subject of my post, something like... in a civilized world. It is easy to forget how much of the world doesn't fit the parameters I consider civilized. My point is simply, as much as I have enjoyed playing Sha Tin & Happy Valley in Hong Kong I can no longer patronize those venues. I'm not sure what CDN is doing scheduling their card vs the nightly news. But I suppose as long as they think they know what they're doing that's probably all that counts to them. So watched the new release "Dream Horse" Toni Collette & Damian Lewis. I watched it with my wife who is auditory and listens to movies rather than watching them. Since the film takes placby Tavasco - Ask the Experts
IMHO - Juliet's Foxtrot sure does look the one to beat. Her success seems to revolve around running the competition off their feet early. Somewhat unusual for good turf horses who most often have a withering stretch run. Add top Jock & Trainer and I'll concentrate on trying to fill in the 2nd and 3rd spots. Preliminary Overview. The area is in a flash flood watch and it is raining. Asmussen's entrant #6 Say it Ain't Soni apparently has only one speed which is to quote the Moody Blues GO NOW! It could be this one is in to complicate some of the other front runners races. Especially those coming from OP where early speed and position were so critical to winning. Caught my eye, not expecting to see a SoCal trainer shipping into bad weather. He has entries in the 4, 6, 7 today (Friday) at first glance. I bet his entry in the 4th. #1 Alcool @7/1. Not surprisingly he dropped a couple of points before the gate opened. Interesting, indirectly making the track financially responsible for allowing criminals to corrupt parimutuel pools. Michael Beychock formerly a regular TG poster was an interesting contributor before turning his hand to the promotion of wagering syndicates associated with CDI. Ironically, just yesterday, I was wondering why do I play the races? I didn't have a meaningful answer. As it turns out, I finished the Makers Mark during last year's derby. My wife said our backyard mint wasn't ready this year (for reasons I don't understand) so rather than a Mint Julep I had Midnight Bourbon with Helium for Derby Day. It is my understanding that the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission manages the Churchil Downs equine blood testing. They are the ones who announced Medina Spirit was in violation of the rules. Churchil Downs Inc. (CDI) was the organization that banned entries from trainer Baffert. Generally speaking CDI's actions take some consideration to appreciate.
